I wanted to create this thread so we could post small stories about Islam and important people in it. I'll start:

In the early days of Islam, someone came and told Hazrat Abu Bakr that enemies have surrounded the Prophet (PBUH) in the Kaaba and that they are bothering him. Abu Bakr was shocked and made his way to the Kaaba. He entered it and saw many people who were against Islam; they were all surrounding the Prophet (PBUH).

The enemies had put a cloth around the Prophet's (PBUH) neck and would pull it hard to cause him discomfort.

Abu Bakr witnessed this and said, "Qiyamat will fall upon our heads. You are unfortunate people, as this individual is of great esteem. What he says is the truth, and you should listen to him."

After hearing this the enemies left the Prophet (PBUH) and attacked Hazrat Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr was beaten by them severely. He had so many wounds on his head that he lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

When Hazrat Abu Bakr awoke several days later, the first thing he asked was if the Prophet (PBUH) was okay. He loved the Prophet (PBUH) so much.

A Hindu man had tried for many years to conceive a son but he was not blessed with one. He even married several times but to no avail.

He made a long journey and visited the shrine of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti and prayed to God that if he had a son he would send him here when he grew up to pay homage.

Within the year he and his wife were blessed with a son. When the boy grew up and was married the Sultan reminded his father of his vow and so the newly married couple were sent to visit Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti's shrine.

On the way, some bandits intercepted their caravan. They killed the groom and captured his wife. As they were taking her away she turned around and looked at the headless body of her husband lying there. The bandits asked her why she is looking at him, no one can save her now.

She became angry and said, "Why has he who we were going to visit not come to help me? Is Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti not my benefactor too?"

No sooner had she said that, the spirit of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti appeared and killed all the bandits. He took the head of the groom and reattached it to his body. The groom came back to life. When his head was rejoined, part of his wife's braid became stuck in the join, since it was lying in her lap. This was proof of the miracle.

The Hindu girl proclaimed, "Khwaja ki jai (May the Khwaja live on)."
