If life has no purpose, how childish to cry a river over stoning of adulterers, the death of apostates, or the persecution of homosexuals.

"humanism", yet another system of control, and dogmas.

What's even sillier is that some atheists think that prostitution is immoral. Haa!

life is living, and living has no purpose. We develop dogmas and dieties to make living bearable, some like critical thinking to be preserved and some like to doze in and out of conciousness,

If you were a single alone human on earth it wont matter if you jumped up and down five times a day, or woke up drunk or in a library, frolicked with chimpanzees or horses, eat snakes or frogs, it wont matter in the least.

It starts to matter when you share space with others, and conflicts occur, you want to jump the lady next to you and she does not want to be jumped by you. You like allah-lalabyes and for that a little human sacrifice is OK in your eyes, but the one getting slaughtered does not like that solution. The more the people the more the disagreements.

Humanism, secular democracy, and such though concoctions of similar magnitude as any religions are slightly more tolerable for a group of diverse individuals providing more to do more without chopping each other up.

Thus allowing the maximum expression of life, you may call living the purpose of life and give it that meaning if you cannot live without that notion.

I think humanism is timely convenient. It is only fashionable today. I can only imagine when worldly resources are scarce and humanity has consumed everything there is to consume.

        Who would it be.......?

In a godless world humanity is the quintessential human delusion, as is hope perhaps in a godly one.

I think if God existed, he would not have allowed to see innocent people die.
          I don't know about Hinduism.
          This is what Quran says.

VERILY, those who have attained to faith [in this writ], as well as those who follow the Jewish faith, and the Christians, and the Sabians – all who believe in God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds– shall have their reward with their Sustainer; and no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve.

Can you please share views about creation of life on earth ?

even today the concept of humanism in manhattan, living in a 50th floor penthouse with a million dollars a year is different than sharing your tent with your whole family in the jalozi camp in pakhtunkhwa. Scandinavians with the protection of US can venture out further than US itself which has to support an army and that too of lower socioeconomic foot soldiers.

Some project that if global warning takes full effect the earth may only support 1-1.5 billion humans. Well humanism will surely take a hit. We will justify mass slaughter by blaming this viral pendemic or that. We have a vaccine for malaria right now, but no money to give it to the africans. More humans have died of malaria than all the wars of humanity. We spend at least a 100 million time more on war than on malaria, even today.

But that does not mean that God, Allah, yahweh, christ, krishna will allow less suffering at times of least resources. Those that can do critical thinking and out manuvoer the others will live, the rest die praising their respective Gods.

as a matter of survival, we should therefore incorporate mindsets in our mist that enhance critical thinking rather than treatment of anxiety, once the earth stabalizes and resources are not fought over we can go back to leisure and God.
