  • Productive Muslim

A ProductiveMuslim is someone who is successfully seeking the pleasure of Allah swt in their religion and worldly life - regardless of what they are doing. They say, "Your place is where Allah places you". Where ever you are, seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT - in the way He has commanded, given your circumstances. - Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

"Do not lose hope in adversity and complain that God singled you out for punishment, remitting others guilty of worse sins. Your present state could very well be His intent to elevate your spiritual station. Or He could just be testing your faith. Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus, your present despair may be the beginning of an infinite blessing". - Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.

It is like what I posted a short time ago, from the Sayings of our Beloved Prophet (PBUH):

"The best people are those who are most useful to others." Here is another one I like:

"A perfect Muslim is one from whose tongue and hands mankind is safe."

I like these kind of topics. If one claims he is productive Muslim, it generally means he/she follows the funadmentals of Islam and tries to be as practical as possible with his or her faith. I think a great Muslim is a person who doesn't cause any harm and who contributes.

Wardarkprince- you're right. While you are helping those in dire need you're also seeking the pleasure of Allah (swt).

I feel like humanity as a whole is lacking the desire to be better people. To be productive and actually do something in life. I'll start off by including myself in this example. I could be way more productive towards Islam, and seek the pleasure of Allah (swt). We're so easily swayed away from what our religion requires us to do. =(
