"One hundred and fourteen conditions were laid down concerning how they should conduct themselves in battle.
You should only fight with someone who wields a sword against you.
If his sword breaks you should not continue to fight with him.
If the person you are fighting falls, you should not strike him.
But if someone tries to strangle you, you can strangle him back.
If he takes your property you can challenge him. Even then you cannot touch his wife, children, trees, livestock or farm. They are not causing you any harm....
Like this 114 rules were given before they (the first Muslims) were allowed to fight. Anyone who deviated from any of these rules would be considered a murderer and subject to Allah's questioning.
Protecting the inner treasure is the only battle waged for Allah. This means killing the evils that come to kill you on the inside. But if you fight for outer things then you will be doing the work of hell and committing murder, and will answer to Allah."
I wonder how many soldiers today or fighters follow Allah's rules into battle??????
The inner battle is the one I struggle with, and as far as I am concerned it is the only one really worth fighting for.
