    .a little temple of my own.

    Do you still have that little space of sanctuary hidden in some corner of your heart? Have you still managed to keep it a secret?

    That place is coming slowly. I used to not have it.. no matter how much I tried to relax, I never truly was at peace. It's getting bigger, and I'm becoming more and more peaceful. I can feel that inner peace.

      To build you have to destroy what is already there. The problem with that is that absolute truth can only originate from belief which can not be built on what is already there.
      You can discover it somewhere or you can rename it but you can't build or rebuild it.

            Maybe, it was hidden for me.
            Or maybe, I was hiding from it.
            Maybe, I was scared from that kind of peace because I was scared that I might have to make some sort of commitment I'm not ready to make.
            Maybe, I was running away from it because it was an unknown place.
            Maybe, I was in that very place when the worst things in my life happened and it triggered me to go running from there.
            Maybe, I sheltered it so well that I myself was unable to find it..
            Maybe, I hid it from myself because I was overwhelmed by the magnitude of its power.
            Maybe, my heart was at unrest and I did not want that peace.
            Maybe, I convinced myself that I don't deserve that peace anymore.

            But now, alhamdulillah.
