What is wrong with Silk

Are you using the same bukhari who said the prophet has the sexual power of a horse?

When will the Muslim world progress out of this Medevil Age.

Everything spiritual is not due to mundane considerations such as financial ones.

I have to look that up about the Romans. WHICH era did they supposedly prohibit silk or silk-wearing? Which Romans, the original Empire or do you mean the Byzantines?
Take a look at those mosaics of Justinian and Theodora in Aya Sofia in Istanbul and other figures such as Kariye Cami.
Those robes may well be silk; I doubt there was any law against it. Economic burden, yes, perhaps.

It was Narrated by Bukhari that the prophet said a time will come within the ummah that things such as silk will be deemed permisslbe.

Silk feels great and is excellent to use on bed covers and linings.

I dont see any logical reason why Silk is bad for Humanity. I dont see any Health risk issues it creates unlike suicide bombers and dominating the world by inforcing Islam by the sword and Quran.

God is 'Rabbul A'alameen' [a'alameen will include kafirs as well] and not just 'Rabbul Muslimeen' and so He/She can give the kaafirs as much commonsense as would please Him/Her. Commonsense is a base for logical disputation and scientific inquiry and by the manifestation of these the American and Western kaafirs seem to have more commonsense than the Muslims. And, I am least bothered about the humiliation of Taliban and Al-Qaeda scoundrels.
