    Great debate.

    That's great de-bate.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I have to say, Mohammed Hijab is brilliant.

I've never really seen a good Christian Scholar that can explain their view rationally. Its mostly through lying and fallacies.

I cringe at these religious videos between Muslims and Christians because all I have seen are between a Muslim who knows his deen and their deen better than they know their own. So when the rebuttal of the Christians can’t even defend their own ideology, their attacks on Islam are weak as hell.

I met a Christian guy at work and since then we went to work at other places. We talked initially in person and eventually through email about religion. He follows a sect of Christianity whose name I can’t remember but they don’t eat pork, the men have beards, their women are vieled and they keep the old commandments. They were about following the text to the T, I don’t want to say the salafi version a Christian but I have no other comparison. In their own dawah they do a lot of religious debates between denominations and sects and other religions. He told me that Islam was basically the “nut they can’t crack” in that it is ideologically sound so they look for inconsistencies in Quran and Hadith but even their best and brightest debaters are nerds who don’t know Islam as much as their Muslim counterpart knows Christianity.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The problem with European Christian scholars is that they refuse to learn the original language of Jesus who was a Jew. It makes them feel belittled that he was not a white European. Look at their pope who learns Latin, the language of European Roman Empire.
You cant really call yourself a scholar unless you know the language of the original text which is why Mohammed Hijab emphasis about the first 300 years. Most of the European Christian Scholars are getting their sources from Roman texts centuries later from the original texts. This is Bias and not intellectually honest. If you want to debate, you should have knowledge about your opponents language, how can you debate if you dont know the original languages of your own texts and your opponents texts, why call yourself a Scholar.

Its like some people at my work who actually think we worship Mohammad like they worship Jesus. Like the Christian guy "scholar" in the video above who is actually making the argument that Islam is like his Christianity that we pray to Mohammad like they pray to Jesus and that the Quran is like their version of the Holy Spirit and Allah is the their version of the Father. If youre making Islam like Christianity then criticize Islam, then your criticizing Christianity as well.
If A = B and B is wrong, then A is wrong as well. Its hypocrisy.

It seems western Muslim youth is too much into MMA drama and seems to be inspired from it (they must be still feverish from Khabib vs McGregor fight). I mean this Muhammad Hijab did not need to act like Conor McGregor. It was a debate, not MMA press conference. He riled up the crowd with Conar Mcgregor-ish performance. The moderator had to intervene and say "this is unislamic, this not what islam represent" to the crowd.

Christians are like Bareilwis, Shias etc of Islam. They went overboard in their reverence for Jesus and deified him. Many Muslims also have gone overboard in their reverence for Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and Hazrat Ali. Many Muslims think the Prophet was noor, a non-human with non-human attributes. They say this entire universe was created solely for Hazrat Muhammad. Exaggerated poems and prose talks about 'ishq' between Allah and his Rasool. We had a member here (the one who was suspected to be a Qadiani) who was saying he would kiss the feet of any Syed he comes across. Many people here in Pakistan behave like this when it comes to Syeds. This is type of idolatry which one must be wary of, not the statues in Museums.

Nope, Mohammed Hijab acted accordingly. David Wood spreads hate and intentionally lies.

Those people always existed, people tend to naturally go back to pagan beliefs. You have people going to graves to ask for forgiveness or cure for sickness etc. I know Iraqis who tell me that they never reject a Syed's(or someone who claims to be one) wishes.
You have people worshiping money(idol worship) but pray 5 times a day and read the Quran.

I’ve met brother Hijab in London, amazing guy!
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
