Assalam'ualaykum,
As we all know, anger does not invalidate the fast, during Ramadhan or not, but it does detract from one's reward. The Muslim should control himself and guard his tongue against swearing, reviling, backbiting, gossiping and other things that Allah has forbidden whether one is fasting or not. But when one is fasting it is more serious and he should be more careful in preserving the integrity of his fast, and avoid that which will harm people or be a cause of trouble, anger and division, as Rasulullah SAW said if one if you is fasting, let him not utter obscenities on that day or raise his voice, and if anyone reviles him or wants to pick a fight with him, let him say ‘I am a person who is fasting. I say this not to advance the seasonal muslim debate, but to remind you, that the same way in which we strive in our personal lives to attain the maximum reward in Ramadhan and avoid all our bad doings, to make it a habit outside of Ramadhan, similarly this forum is the same. Anger inciting posts, swearing, mocking and ridiculing members should be seen in the same light. Allah accept our good intentions in this month and keep us away from evil InshaAllah.
My intentions are not to disappoint.
My intentions are not to disappoint.

. Over past few ramadhans I would let my temper reach over the limits and it would have devastating consequences. And this year I'm as cool as a cucumber and its working wonders
