  • Old Spice Ingredients

    As-Salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah

I was informed that Old Spice deodorant contains ingredients derived from pig. I sent Old Spice an email asking about their deodorants and antiperspirants and this was their reply:

Thanks for contacting Old Spice, Mujib.

This product may or may not contain animal by-products, depending on what ingredient source was available at the time of manufacture. The ingredients may be derived from a variety of vegetable sources, such as coconut or palm kernel oil, or animal sources, typically beef or pork, hides or bones. Please be assured P&G uses vegetable resources whenever possible.

    Hope this is helpful.

I strongly dislike when they are unsure where it could be derived from. Alhamdulillah the hair products I have gotten recently ... I have called to ask and they've been pretty prompt with confident replies about the ingredients.

    Thanks for sharing =)

no wonder i can't stand the stink of it. i used to blame people for drinking whenever i smelled it on them.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.
