That's true but Japan is also more servile and subservient to Neo-Imperialism. They actually had to militarily subjugate Afghanistan to make Afghanistan subservient to Neo-Imperialism, and even then it still hasn't worked.

This is also interestingly a hint at why Islam has always been associated with revolutionary movements.

While global condition is very complex and one cannot just give a straight answer on most things. I'd say that is emblematic of something.

I have been to many Muslim and non Muslim countries and have found a hell of difference between Somalia and Sweden for example, one 100% Muslim and even Islamist and the other a secular and almost atheist country.

Religion serves only on personal or family level for morality or spirituality but religions like Islamism or Zionism are bomb shells for humanity.

never discuss evolution with a 90 year old white woman.. No matter how much of a good conversationalist she may come across.. One minute you are talking about how irritating magpies sound or birds and their beaks.. The next minute, **** has officially hit the roof..

Japan is a subservient to Neo-Imperialism.
What does this have to do on a national level ?

Japan is proof that Allah is not great & people don't needs Islam to live prosperously.
Unlike Islamic countries, Japan doesn't even have oil to be successful.

Well in the Post Colonial era, resources and market forces have been organized to favor those that conform and chastie/castgate those that don't conform.

Japan conforms like good obedient puppies. Thereby successful

Your last statement tells me you're completely clueless about this subject. Most "Islamic" countries don't have oil or in the very least not major oil producers. And MOST of ones that do such as Saudi, UAE , Qatar and Kuwait are allies with Secular Imperialist countries. Iran would be an exception, if you consider them "Islamic", but even they have embargoes global castigation and so on which attempts to disrupt and undermine its economy. yet somehow they stay viable.

Surprised? This is no coincidence that all the "Islamic" countries you seem to be referring to are also the countries that won't bow down. And the ones that do bow down, such as the Gulf Arab states have bowed down.

Stop making excuses. it's all shaytan works
The world is against Islam etc.... blabla

I know that not all islamic countries have oil. I am not clueless like you.
You're just very bad at understanding.
The most economic prosperous islamic/muslim countries are because of Oil.
But even with this advantage, they are not first world nation & have proper economies & do not contribute anything intelligent to the world.

Muslim countries economy wasn't great either 150 years ago.

They are stuck in the stone age with their beliefs.

Then why did you suggest Islamic countries have OIL in your previous post. That was a demonstration of cluelessness. You're simply backpeddling now

The economic prosperity of THE ENTIRE WORLD is because of oil. Without it No economy in the present day would function Because industries, cars and general power relies heavily on oil. Yes I'm aware of alternate fuel, In fact I'm against oil dependence, BUT no one that has any knowledge would believe that OIL is not central to the modern economy.

Islamic countries weren't economically 150 years ago? WELL OBVIOUSLY they were being colonized by the Europeans 150 years ago, who today HAVE the predominant share of the world's wealth ALSO not a coincidence. Do you see a pattern yet? Or are you so blinded by your colonized mind set to recognize what's going on.

What part of my sentence says that ALL islamic countries have oil?

The ones that do have oil, are the richest islamic countries.. They rely on exporting oil for their economy. These rich muslim countries are the only ones worth comparing to.
If they didn't have any oil, they would resemble other dirt poor muslim countries.

Oh poor muslim countries being colonized by non-muslim countries. sniff sniff! Meanwhile, muslims don't mind colonizing others.

I am no more colonized than you.
Better to be colonized by civilized people than to be colonized by a gang of filthy arabs.
I use my head, I don't blindly follow western customs & don't follow a book from "God" who talked in secret to some arab in a cave.

If you go to Afghanistan, every thing was built thanks to westerns & easterners.
Islam has existed for 1500 years. What good has it served Muslim countries & muslims?

The fact you said Islamic countries without any distinction over which ones? This by necessity would imply you are referring to all Islamic countriesThe rich Islamic countries that have oil are the MAJOR exporters of oil, not the ONLY exporters of Oil. Algeria, if you consider them an "Islamic"country also has oil but it is not a major exporter.

Even Japan was "dirt" poor 150 years ago it was Western super powers that built Japan's current economy. Granted I agree Japanese are hard working, but hard working is not enough unless you have political favor in Modern Globalized economy which was established by Imperial forces.

I never gave any judgement value on colonization in and of itself, i'm just saying that's what has created what we see today. So your argument would have no bearing unless you factor that in. I'm not here to compare who is more colonized than who; but that your mode of thinking and paradigm represents the psychological inroads of colonization. This is what I mean by colonized mentality you view things from their lens rather than make objective analysis.

See even your remark "civilized people" is based on the colonized White Supremacist notions that Whites are civilized and the rest of the world is barbaric. Your remark only reinforces that you are n fact mentally enslaved in a colonized psychology. Your language is littered with indoctrinated thinking. If you read any of the Orientalist writings it is saturated with this dichotomy of "Whites" being civilized vs. non-whites uncivilized.

I feel bad for you, apparently you suffer self hatred and feelings of inferiority from being associated with a Muslim background. Islam is the only ideological force that can make an Imperialist Hegemony feel threatened. That in itself demonstrates the power and merits of Islam.

You know what though? I myself am secular minded just like you It's true BUT I side with Muslims and Islam, not necessarily because I believe in Islam as the solution; but the values make more sense and are more internally consistent than the Ones that prevail over Secular societies today

Obviously you're a nitpicker who reads too much on the word.

Where did you get the idea that Japan was dirt poor?
Japan was always financially independent. They had a great tradition of craftsman. They were not too far behind the rest of the world.
And today, they are among the leading first world nations.
Islam has been completely absent in their history.

How would you objectively view Japan vs Muslim countries?
Muslim countries haven't been ravaged by war on the level Japan has.
Yet, they pressed on & succeeded without praying to "Allah".
I don't view the rest of the world as "barbaric" and I am not mentally enslaved to white people. This is your own perception. You're putting words in mouth.
I did use Japan as an example. Japan isn't white.
Islam simply belongs in the past. The world has outgrown these simple values.
Who is more civilized: Japan, Canada or 7th century arabs?

You're just trying to character assassinate me & trying to play me off as some kind of self-hating afghan or ashamed to be muslim person. I am not. I have no inferiority complex.
And it is not long ago that I renounced Islam. I renounced Islam, religion & the concept of God for various reasons, fitting in is not one them.
I am proud of my Afghan/Pashtun Heritage.

Was I not colonized by being muslim? After all, Islam is a Semetic invention.

"Imperialist Hegemony" also "felt threatened" by Communism. I guess this gives Soviet Russia some merit. You're giving Islam too much credit.

You are a hypocrite. You know very well that Islam is incompatible with secularism. Islam doesn't allow it.
Islam's values aren't unique. You can find similar philosophies elsewhere.
Also, Islam isn't based on values or morals. Islam is based on submission to "God" & all that comes with it, the good & the bad.
As the world's morals continue to grow, your's are stuck in the 7th century Arabia.

Damir9000

I would say that you should phrase your statements more carefully. As far as I can infer you're backpeddling. But fair enough if you only meant the "Rich Oil Nations" then so be it.

Where did you get that Japan was "always" financially independent?Japan had to sign treaties with European powers much like Iran is doing now because the Western powers had control of Pacific Trade. They were poverty stricken, but their Emperor was very militaristic so they managed to buy weaponry and technology to build up their navy. This was when Japan was rising. But this was after treaties were signed.

Japan wasn't war ravaged, it was Hiroshima and Nagasaki that got the predominant blow due to nukes. Most of Japan was pretty in tact. Then there came massive funding campaign that went into establishing Japan's technological and financial capabilities which they have today. This sort of gave Japanese "graces" and Japanese had partnerships with America and European powers.

This did not and does not exist in the Muslim Countries. Even Saudi Aramco was not autonomous until the 80's. Rather even now the primary recipients are the dictatorships which are strategic allies with limited benefit for the private sector

I'm not suggesting that NONE of Japan's success was in debt to their hardwork. It does. In fact I have a great deal of reverence to Japanese culture and their ethics. HOWEVER none of their hard work would have even counted if the Global Hegemony which was sanctioned under the Imperial Powers did not give them the appropriate support to do so.

you're using the language and rhetoric popularized by European orientalism. It only demonstrates that you have internalized their narrative. This leads to the conclusion that you've assassinated your own character. This epitomizes self hatred, shame and inferiority complexes

You're asking me who is more civilized? They're all very civilized in their own ways. Communism has LONG since been defeated. There is no present threat by communists. so moot point Islam is only realistic threat there exists.

Secularism only means to separate church & state, I didn't say that I Islam is compatible with secularism I just think Islam provides a more internally consistent society than current forms of secularism does so I endorse Islam even though I'm not fully convinced of all aspects of it.

Two words are very important in the above post. 1 Partnership of Japan. Yes this is partbership which made Japan the 3rd economy of the world not its survitude. Lesson for Muslims.
2 Islam as a threat. Islam has one global role and that is negative. A threat to humanity after communism.
And one question
Any success story of Islam? Any Japan, Germany,China, Uk ,US or even Brazil or Argentina or Canada or Australia or Dinmark or even Vietnam or Cuba or South Africa of Islam????

Their "partnership" IN THIS case is servitude But it's a overtly less severe form of servitude

Like in the American South, when they had plantations, Plantations had a House Slave who was given special privileges and graces to oversee and supervise the other slaves. He was made to feel somewhat special and even to a degree an "associate" to the owner

This ANALOGY could describe Japan's status in the Global Hegemonic Hierarchy.

Behind every supposed success story there is a great deal of orchestration and collusion. In reality it was all piracy and brigandry.

You are actually the perfect example for the moral impact of the saying "all that glitters is not gold."

What we know for sure is that conquered peoples act conquered if they fully unequivocally submit. If they are beaten severely, their outcome is on the level of the American natives - with a complex and rich history but a future on reservations with battling alcohol and an erasure of that rich history to the point where the language vanishes as does the culture.

For its submission, the glitter of Japan has, to folks such as yourself, that do not scratch the surface, appears to be doing great.

The reality though is that after being conquered, subdued, and stripped of the right of an offensive Army the outcome is now more devastating than ever before:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/w...yone-imagined/

Japan’s declining population has a powerful impact on its economic situation, and not for the better. An aging population leaves the country with fewer workers and more dependents. And conventional wisdom says aging leads to slower economic growth and more deflationary forces, both of which make it more difficult for Japan to chip away at the substantial debt burden from its economic crisis at the beginning of the 1990s.

Here is another interesting theme that comes up again and again:

These trends have been developing for decades. Sociologist Muriel Jolivet noted in her 1997 work Japan: The Childless Society that many Japanese women had taken a break from motherhood, in part due to male reluctance to take responsibility for raising children. This trend accelerated in the next decade. By 2010, a third of Japanese women entering their 30s were single, as were roughly one in five of those entering their 40s. That’s roughly eight times the percentage in 1960, and twice that of 2000. By 2030, according to sociologist Mika Toyota, almost one in three Japanese males may be unmarried by age 50.

Many young Japanese are not only eschewing marriage but a highly publicized sliver now show little sexual interest in each other. The percentage of sexually active female university students, according to the Japanese Association for Sex Education, has fallen from a high of 60% in 2005 to 47% in 2012.

Much has been made of a subset of young Japanese men labeled as “herbivores,” who appear more interested in comics, computer games and socializing through the Internet than in seeking out the opposite sex. And since many only work part-time, they tend to stay longer with their parents, further slowing economic growth.
Additionally, your comparison points you are setting up are hardly scientific. You are comparing a series of states with tyrannical regimes installed by other powers to those very powers.

This would be akin to comparing Rome to one of her suzerainties (Gaul) after Caeser took them and turned them into such vs say, comparing Rome to Carthage (a more equitable comparison).

Until the rise of China recently, the Asian states were in a similar glut where after Japan was conquered one might have been able to say that there was no comparable state to laud in Asia as there was in the West.

Powers rise and fall due to circumstance alongside of progress and in the next two or three centuries the world map may look entirely different.

For now a more reasonable set of comparisons to draw would be the various tyrannies installed by say, Russia, to the ones in the middle east or something as such.

Abe is trying to reverse these trends with his brand of zealous Japenese nationalism and giving up on apologizing for WWII actions ... but many fear its too late.

There are things that are more valuable than having the most Starbucks in your capital city and they are commodities that are not measurable by a scale or a numeral system of any sort - they are measured in egalitarian ideals which Islam imparts and which Pashtuns have always championed.

In essence, what you and Badlun call for is self annihalation - something that is inconceivable for most Afghans.
