While I don't support religious schools or theocratic governments in general, This video post is just taken from an incredibly agenda driven and slanted perspective. It's actually from a rather old Dawkins video. What''s ironic here is that While Dawkins is is an accomplished scientist ......he uses such dodgy arguments here that being able to show a CASE where students learn such things means ALL such schools teach such things.

Historically though Schools which had an Islamic curriculum did not have faith restrictions on whether their current evidence of science was contrary to the Qur'an. It's only with a more Salafist movement arising did this actually take sweep. So it seems that Dawins argument would only apply to Salafism not Islam if we're to take an analytical approach.

So much hatred for Islam from secularists. I actually even agree with many points of secularists but sometimes they are not less extremist than supporters of strict theocracy. Why we need to ban religion from public life as it were something evil ? Islam is not against secular education and not force us to live like in the stone age like some radicals claim

This is not hatred, every time when secularist show what is wrong with Islamic schools and goverment you Islamist cry like babies that you are atacked. This is just healthy critisism of how education is dumbed down by mixing it with relligion. I could also post how stupid some christian school are who belive earth is 6000 year old and that dino bones are put in the ground by the devil to fool people. I don't do that becuase none of the people here are christian, majority of you are muslims, who are brainwashed in mosques that secularism is some evil that tries to stop relligion, when in fact secularism try to be free from relligious opression. Its relligious people that try to kill us.

they destroy entire families just because of their ideology

This is one example of a school with neem-hakeem teacher, fairly normal kids whose parents have enforced religious values - surely you have come across people who are not intellectually fit for positions they hold - as this pathetic teacher of science.

This happens in almost all schools and professions where someone doesnt fully know what they are supposed to know - poor education, shaky hiring policies, often powered by accountants to make profits.

Sadly I have to accept that many of our teachers lack the intellect, and our education systems lack the coherence to reach a consensus in islamic interpretation of the western sciences that may allow this sort of shameful expose of this wretched teacher.

I dont consider quran as a book on embryology or plate tectonics to extent that I start analysing word for word to see if two sentences (eg vaguely referring to early stage of life form as a liquid, or mountains pinning the land) should be seminal works in those fields. Perhaps we are not seeing the message of quran.

There are many poor practitioners (bad doctors and bad teachers) out there, that need weeding out of organisations where average people who are not experts trust these practitioners on face value.
