A "day" in the heavenly calendar can be equal to millions of "years" in our solar system.

1 day means the earth just completed a single rotation of the sun.

1 month means the moon completed its orbit around the earth.

1 year just means that the earth completes a full orbit around the sun

The sun is just a star for our solar system and it too orbits the milky way galaxy. It takes our solar system 250 million earth years to orbit around the Milky Way.

The Milky Way galaxy alongside a billion other ones orbits around the Virgo supercluster.

Virgo superclusters orbits the local superclusters, which orbits the observable universe.

So what constitutes a day?

I would like to add that,

The observable universe is the median: The heavens start above it; the hells beneath it.

Which goes to show that a day for the heavens probably has not even finished. Maybe that is what "the day of judgement" signifies: the completion of the day. The big bang happened in the start of the day, judgement days happens at midnight.*

* this is my theory

I'll set up a separate thread if we veer too far off topic, but with the vastness of the universe, isn't there an increased likelihood that other intelligent life also exists and has received the central message of worship of Allah? There is something else that I'd like to know.

it is pretty much fact that according to the quran there is life outside of earth, as for the message that these creatures have received if any, is an interesting topic.

42:29. And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.

16:49. And to Allah doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living) creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord).
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Jinns are evident enough that they're other life forms throughout the endless amounts of super clusters.

They were life-forms before humans, they will be life-forms after humans.

Do you believe in Kun fayakoon (be and done) theory or it took millions of years by God to create the universe(if the day was too long at that time)?

Also I so far could not understand that why these galaxies and billions of stars were created or came into being if earth is the only habitable place and the only place where the most important creature, the human being is living. What is the use and utility of such a vast universe.

If other realms will be discovered with life, then it means day of judgement is still far away.

I mentioned in the first post that a "day" has a different length relative to where you are in the cosmos. Please reread that post

Where is it written that the Earth is the only habitable place, and only place where the human being lives and are the most important creatures?

If other realms will be discovered with life, then it means day of judgement is still far away.

That doesn't mean anything. Space is too big and there is no time to search for other intelligent life beings.

The day of judgement can slowly be happening right now. It's just that a day, is a real long time in respect to the time of the heavens.

moon orbits the earth. Earth and its brother planetsorbits the sun. The sun orbits the galactic centre of the milky way. The milky way orbits the local cluster. And the local cluster alongside its neighboring clusters orbit the Virgo supercluster. Virgo supercluster is orbiting the observable universe. The observable universe and the heavens orbit God, the ultimate mass (power source) of everything.

Everything in the cosmos has a specific and purposeful job they do.

That's a brilliant way to analogize it Well done. Read my thread, tel me what you think.

What may seem like billions of years to us in this frame on the Earth may in reality be happening instantaneously for God.

Also I so far could not understand that why these galaxies and billions of stars were created or came into being if earth is the only habitable place and the only place where the most important creature, the human being is living. Well in reality space-time is kind of a hologram. Where we see distances and objects but Really Spatial dimensions are projections coiled together. So perhaps the goal is to transcend it.

If other realms will be discovered with life, then it means day of judgement is still far away.
Why would judgement day be far away if other realms have life?

Why would it take the all powerfull God to make the world in millions of years when its mentioned that it took 7 days......

Quran was written for humans on this planet earth... if we are going to question this and think that one day is not one day than what else should we reconsider???

Khostai

Your question Easy to answer, In The General Theory of Relativity, Time and Space are relative based on the reference frames of the observers. So what seems to us Millions of Years would be instantaneous to God because God does not exist spatially. So the 7 days is more like 7 stages since in Space "Days" are periods which are relative to rotation, things which have larger mass or space will have larger rotations hence larger days, So these days are actually referring to periods.

These things are not for human reason. We have to separate faith from reason. Otherwise religious teachings are all unreasonable, irrational or for some other kind of creatures.

If the goal is to transcend all these expansions, the it will take a long time to reach the day of judgement. We have just reached moon or mars, but still we have to transcend and discover many many other realms. Human life is still in beginning so how all of the sudden everything will be finished by the onslaught of the day of judgement.

Well actually in Islam we unite Reason with Faith, that's why the Qur'an says for people to Think and Use their Logic. So they're not separate. In Islam we have faith based on Reason not faith just to believe.

There's no rule that says that it will take a long time to reach the Day of Judgement, I mean the Day of Judgement can happen anytime. If God controls the way Nature works He can also cause Space to Condense right? And in that process day of Judgement can happen in an Instant.

Don't put rules on God, he is the ruler maker not the one who is ruled.

Then it is a dictator God who changes the rules, makes the rules as He or she wants as per his/her sweet will, can create millions of realms in one instant and can also destroy it and does not follow the Reason he/she has created and thus there is no meaning in the reason. We are just slaves of the will of God, no free will or no freedom.

Well of course God created the Universe, it belongs to them, it's their property, why shoudn't they dictate? That's why God is Supreme because they can do that. We're not capable of doing that; that's why we surrender to God who is.Reason is based on The way the Universe Operates, If God changed the rules then the Universe will Operate another way, But that would still be reason.

You're jumping all over the place between different topics, stay focused.
