Asalamalikum

I'd like to dedicate this thread to great scholars and mujahideen who were from Afghanistan/Khurasan. The purpose of this is not to get a nationalistic feeling but rather become influenced by the religious in our history and aim to be like them.

The first scholar i will name is no other than the great scholar Abu Hanifa.

The Real Imam Abu Hanifah - YouTube

Most of you reading this are probably thinking "what are you talking about Abu Hanifa was from Kufa!" and i'll say yes, he was born and raised in Kufa. However in origins he is from Kabul, Afghanistan. According to the video Abu Hanifa was from persian descent and his grandfather was from Kabul who was among the ones who excepted Islam from the hands of the Sahaba.

For History on Abu Hanifa i guide you to this article

EDITED: i've edited out this video because i realized that i wouldn't ever paste a video from sayyaf talking about matters of ilm or rabbani. I shouldn't do the same with other treacherous scholars against our brethren in Egypt

Great initiative. Just get rid of that khabeeth's video. I can' t stand him.

I'll post a few names lateron.

It will also be appreciated if you share names of some scientists, philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, psychologists, mathematicians, researchers and academicians.
