is religion and all ways of life against human nature or simply a human interpretation of human nature in the best conceivable way possible that makes sense to human life? like when animals group together in packs are religious groups a mere reflection of such an idea with merely human intelligence attached to them and an elaborate story that has for some odd reason persisted for thousands of years with ideas of gods coming down to earth giving wisdom and leaving promising to return. life lessons in life in almost every aspect. talking, sleeping, culture in general; is religion a rebellion of human nature? or merely a reflection of our natural instincts developed through our intelligence in our primitive efforts to see the world around us? i say rebellion personally, lets say a is born and taught in a libertine sort of way with no morals, no philosophy of whats wrong or whats right. just how to survive, intelligence, communication and the other necessities. man and culture would be different; the law of nature justifies that struggle and strife are constant by allowing the survival of the fittest, christianity is a rebellion against natural and nature in general, taken to its extreme IE: cults, religion would mean the failure in my belief.

you're very random and your ideas are very disconnected. It's hard to make any assessments of what you're saying except that you have some deep seated psychological issues which you believe religion is to blame.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
as a new poster on this forum I've noticed the same thing, it's fine to debate science vs. religion or whatever, but unless the thread is devoted to that kind of topic, we shouldn't feel the need to jump in with our aggressive agendas. basically, stay on topic, be respectful, and check your sensitivity at the doorOriginally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View Postyou're very random and your ideas are very disconnected. There doesn't seem to be a topic to stay on; it seems you're using this forum as some sort of blog; there are dozens of blog sites for that we don't need you to pollute the forum with your mental flatulence. And I mean that nicely; I tried to give your topics a chance but you seem to have difficulties stringing together coherent sentences.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
yes, why not? i'm not even aware of many genuine discussions in this regard being proposed. by the way, this forum is by no means dedicated to petty squabbles. having said that, there definitely is a lot of petty squabbling going on but not particularly about religion (the latter being expressly avoided as a topic)

well because this isn't a site meant for your brain farting would be one reason; you're spamming this site and that is grounds for having your screen name suspended. I'd have been more tolerant if you had sensible messages in your posts but they all seem to be rants and at that using phrases and words so nebulous they don't seem to have a real point except mindless juvenile angst.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
Great thoughts. I really appreciate the way you describe things. For some it may be beyond their comprehension but for others these may be highly inspiring and thought provoking.Originally posted by Kochagasht View Postis religion and all ways of life against human nature or simply a human interpretation of human nature in the best conceivable way possible that makes sense to human life? like when animals group together in packs are religious groups a mere reflection of such an idea with merely human intelligence attached to them and an elaborate story that has for some odd reason persisted for thousands of years with ideas of gods coming down to earth giving wisdom and leaving promising to return. life lessons in life in almost every aspect. talking, sleeping, culture in general; is religion a rebellion of human nature? or merely a reflection of our natural instincts developed through our intelligence in our primitive efforts to see the world around us? i say rebellion personally, lets say a is born and taught in a libertine sort of way with no morals, no philosophy of whats wrong or whats right. just how to survive, intelligence, communication and the other necessities. man and culture would be different; the law of nature justifies that struggle and strife are constant by allowing the survival of the fittest, christianity is a rebellion against natural and nature in general, taken to its extreme IE: cults, religion would mean the failure in my belief.
Religion is an effort to tame the wild nature of human being by engaging him/her in beliefs, worship and morality. Otherwise on personal level there would be jungle law every where. Religion has its role limited to private lives and maximum to family life. For other institutions like society and state we have culture and state not religion. In some highly advanced societies like in Scandinavian countries music or spiritualism can replace religion.

i question your focus of the understanding of god, and whether you point to any particular religion. given the illustration, you assume all people perceive god in the same way you perceive god and the faith any person has; of course there are written tenets, but one still must assume all perceptions of any particular religion, or understanding of religion, or faith are fairly identical. one must also take into account the institution in which particular religions conduct certain practices and other customs or traditionsOriginally posted by Badlun View PostGreat thoughts. i posit that a view of heaven requires profound thinking, and to simplify the complexities as such in a statement or question which begs a simple, clear and concise answer fails to do justice to the expanse of practice and knowledge that is required of a satisfying answer
