News has just emerged that actor Kristen Stewart was apparently paid a gigantic sum of $500,000 in exchange for a 15-minute meeting with a Middle Eastern prince. The Twilight star received the full amount in cash when she met the unidentified prince, along with his team of bodyguards, at Madison Square Garden in December 2012, the Mirror reported.
However, Stewart didn’t keep the money. It was donated to help raise funds for Hurricane Sandy’s relief efforts. Hollywood movie executive Harvey Weinstein revealed that he was the one who helped negotiate the deal between the prince and the actor, according to the Times of India.
Weinstein, who is currently promoting a documentary based on the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at the Toronto Film Festival, said Stewart’s immediate response was, “How much?,” when he revealed the offer.
The prince apparently had to shell out over $33,333 a minute, which is around $555 a second, to interact with Stewar

A couple of points.

1. There is no proof that the story is true. I could say Bengal Tiger was given X dollars by a member of the British royal family. He cannot disclose who it was and he no longer has that money as he gave it to charity.

However having said that I can imagine Gulf Arabs doing this sort of stuff, so it's not totally unbelievable.

2. There is no indication that the guy was a Wahabi. As much as I don't like Wahabis not every gulf Arab prince is a Wahabi. Some are secular, some are Tableeghis (e.g. some of the Qataris), I think some have Sufi leanings.

3. If the story is true the irony is that there is no way Kristen Stewart would even pay $10,000 dollars to spend a day let alone 900 seconds (15 minutes) with a gulf Arab prince.

The prince would be "blue blooded" and would always be a prince, whereas a Hollywood start can end up in rehab, broke, in prison or die in humiliation.

The only 2 serious points I can add is that

a: If this money comes from petro-dollars than this "prince" is stealing money from the public purse, from resources which belong to the people but which people like the Saudi dynasty think is their personal private property.

b: The Muslim leaders (and leaders of any country) are merely representative of the common Muslim and Muslims are corrupt like their leaders.

People like to blame the rulers in the "Muslim" world for the sad state it is in now, which is valid to an extent. However some do this to then whitewash the Muslim masses whom they feel are perfect.


Anyway here is Janet Jackson with her billionaire Qatari prince husband.




Her brother Jermaine is a Muslim.











He is also married to an Arab.
