And in the real world, millions of Muslim women lost against all non Muslim women of the world as they cannot participate in social, cultural, economic and political activities while others can.

A huge loss of human resources because of stupid religious and cultural ideas to segregate women, to imprison them in 4 walls and to make them the symbol of honor and shame.

Muslim woman is more worried about her scarf while other women are fighting for their rights as equal human beings.

Scarf or Burka or the women in a bag is the symbol of imprisonment. It is like chains where Muslim women are tied and forbidden to function as a normal human being. It is gender discrimination. It is an excuse to segregate and isolate women from society. It is telling them that women have limits.

If they are very intelligent, very wise, very educated but are symbol of honor and have to put on a sign in the shape of scarf so that they cannot claim to be equal human beings.

When they have to cover even the face then it is a real impairment in their movement, driving, wrestling , exercise, communication and expression with body language.

Scarf stops women to swim and take bath in beaches and swimming pools. They cannot walk, run and enjoy nature the way men can. This is really a big obstacle. The proof is the status of Muslim women who do not appear anywhere on world scene because of their seclusion.

I am a Pashtun Muslim born in a village of Kunarr and brought up in a small village in Dir. My ancestors were only Pashtuns before 1400 years and their women used to work in fields and mountains the same way you see today many Pashtun women today in Kunarr, Karak, waziristan, Dir , Swat where the influence of Salafism and Islamism has not reached.

I see those women stronger than men and they are the ones who feed their men not the other way round where in cities women have to depend on men because their so called Islam does not let the women to work.

Problem became intensified after 1979 when religion was totally mixed with politics and society.

Even in the beginning of Islam women used to take part in wars and other collective occasions. Now even they are not allowed to go to mosques.

Please do recognize that there exist some problem with women in our society. We do not have ideal situation. If women cannot swim at least let them have some small shops and other economic activity and may participate in social and political activities.
