I'd like to introduce a wonderful website that discusses the Islamic history of the Muslims, history that most Muslims don't know.

this thread will mostly be used to post what they say, and i will also include other historical articles and videos in this thread so that the people can be educated because it seems a lot of people on this forum are absolutely oblivious on our Islamic history. It will also show when Muslims were implemented Islam and were inspired by it they gained success.

Legend has it that when King Alfonso VI of Castille was besieging Muslim Seville in 1091, he sent a letter to the the ruler of the city saying:

"Do you mind sending me a fly swatter? The flies in this area bother me much more than your army does."

The Muslim king of Seville wrote the following on the back of Alfonso's letter and sent it back:

"If you do not immediately leave, I will swat you with a fly swatter called the Murabitun (a power North African dynasty focused on the revival of Islam)."

The next day Alfonso's army packed up and left the city without a fight.

Throughout history, Muslims have only been successful when united.
