Interesting lecture. Who is the speaker ?

I was wondering whether the Night of Destiny is tonight ?
Or has it already been ? I didn't get a clear idea.

It can be an odd night in the last ten nights of Ramadhan. For example 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th.

        Thank you, Friend.

I was confused about which night it would be this year even before
        I saw the thread.

Is it changeable every Ramazan ?
Or no one exactly knows WHICH of the odd numbered nights
the Night of Destiny is ?

What a beautiful and powerful name ! It strikes awe in the soul
        just to hear.

No one knows the exact day but it could be any odd day in the last ten days so that Muslims do ibadah all the last ten nights and do not focus on just one night. Its not changeable.

At first the Prophet sal allahu alayhi wasalam use to know the exact date. But then he forgot which date it was exactly on.

What we still do know is that it is in the last 10 lights of Ramadan, and particularly the odd nights. There are a number of narrations suggesting that it is in the last few odd nights. Some tend to believe it is on the 27th night.

We don't know for sure which night it is.

Scholars say that there is allot of wisdom in the fact that its exact date is not known. It makes people to to strive harder at the end of Ramadan which is a blessing for us. We are motivated to preform extra acts of worship at the end of Ramadan.

              Ah !!!

That makes sense about the benefit to the soul who will work harder
during the entire last third of Ramazan.

I see - the Holy Prophet forgot : THAT's why the exact day is not
recorded and passed down through history.

              Appreciate the explanations !
