Thanks for the educational response. I do agree with most of what you are saying, I'm just reporting back from several books I have read from the behaviors of the companions after the death of Muhammad (PBUH)
The claim of Muhammad exiling Marwan I was from what I have read from a book. The author does put up references to his claim, but all have to dig up the sentence from what I have read. I shall post the sentence up when I find it tomorrow as it is past midnight. Please have patience on my part.
Also, before Uthman was wrongfully assassinated, he was under siege and sent a letter to Muwaiya for help. Muawiya didn't sent reenforments to him, but used his death for propaganda reasons against Ali.
Also, I am not a Shia or a companion slander. I'm just searching up the truth about what happened to Islam after the death of Muhammad (PBUH) and why Muslims are so separated.
