Faye i believe if god has a cause then he wouldn't be god so ovcourse no cause for god, everything has a cause apart from god.----------

No because if you listened carefully to his argument, he says that that would be impossible because then something else would have had to cause that causation as well. Logically, it must stop at One Supreme Creator.Originally posted by faye View Postgoing by his logic, doesn't that still leave the question, 'what CAUSED god'?
The speaker in the video gave an example that if he wanted to shoot the man sitting next to him but sought someone else's permission and that second guy in turn sought another's permission and so on and so forth, the cycle would have to eventually end somewhere in order for the event to take place.
We are given the truth and guidance. We are created and our Creator has more knowledge than us otherwise belief and faith wouldn't be a test and there would be little point to the ephemeral life on Earth of humans, a race gifted with intellect and logic.
The signs are all around us, we just have to let go of our arrogance and submit ourselves to the One who created us, the One who has the power to create even if He (swt) says "Be!" Nothing is beyond His (swt) capability. He (swt) is the All-Knowing and Wise."Do not waste water even if you were at a running stream."-Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Faith does come from logic because the more knowledge one seeks with a heart free of bias, the closer they will come to realizing the truth and Allah (swt) has deliberately made His (swt) signs manifest literally everywhere in order for His (swt) creation to ponder over them and submit themselves in humility.Originally posted by faye View Posti didn't say i needed a cause for the creator, just pointing out the fault in the reasoning used.
i don't think one can come to or justify/prove or disprove the existence of god/creator/allah, through the use of logic."Do not waste water even if you were at a running stream."-Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

i heard the video and logically, the question is still able to be asked, 'but who created god?'.
if someone has told you, there are signs of god everywhere, then that is what you will find, if you choose to believe that.
i don't believe faith comes from logic.
so now you're a full blown muslim already, joey? appears to have been a quick and complete conversion, lad.
