I am currently living in the United States, but I am from South Asia. My father is an Indian, and my mother is a Sikh Pashtun from peshawar who had to move to New Delhi after partition. What are your thoughts on other religions, and the Sikh Pashtuns, the United States, and India? I would like to clear up many claims that the politicians of South Asia have made for you to believe. I advocate only for peace and tolerance.

Well, after perusing through many of the posts on this page, I have found many anti-American feelings (I can understand), anti-Indian thoughts, as well as hate towards other religions. I would like of know the basis for this so that I may present to you alternative thoughts for your consideration.

Although I find this highly doubtful since most of the Sikhs in Pashto speaking regions are of Punjabi descent. Even if it is in fact true, it makes very little difference to me.

I will however say that Sikhs never ruled Afghanistan, they occupied Kabul and Peshawar, never ruled.

Also unless you're related to a Pashtun tribe, even if you speak Pashto, you're not deemed a Pashtun.

Don't listen to him. He is an Arab himself and every body hates him around here.

There's no such thing as a Sikh Pashtun, but there is such thing as a Pashto speaking sikh.

Pashto speaking sikhs have ancestors from the clans of Punjab, Peshawar had all kinds of Punjabi clans of any religion, but after the partition, many of these punjabi clans had to migrate to india.

Pashto speaking sikhs trace their ancestry to punjabi/rajput clans, not to Pashtun clans, so it's likely that they're language got changed from hindko to pashto over time, thus creating pashto speaking sikhs.

There was a guy named Hari Singh Nalwa who conquered the Afghan regions, however, i doubt any muslim would become a sikh.

NO muslim nation has became a Sikh, Pashtun Sikhs are originally Hindu Kashatriya castes who converted to Sikhism. They lived among Pashtuns which is why they're language got changed to PAshto, their original language was Hindko/Punjabi, i hate it when sikh trolls try to claim Pashto Sikhs as apostates from Islam..

and why is there no punishment for apostacy for Sikhism? Say i became a Sikh and left the Sikh religion, nothing happens, but when someone leaves Islam, hell occurs.

The Turi and 1/2 Bangash Pashtun tribes are not Pashtuns, because they are Shia muslims, and thus are actually Persians/Azerbaijani people who lived among Pashtuns , learned Pashto but remained Shia. Lol, did emperor Safavi manage to force convert some Pashtuns to Shia Islam? Hari Singh Nalwa, piss be upon that Kufr! Sikhs are Kufrs, their version of God is Pantheistic.... okay, sorry for being a little harsh..

A Pashtun Sikh? Never heard of it. I think your mothers side were Pashto speaking punjabis since the durrani empire ruled all of north India. I vouch what RTR is saying, unless you can trace yourself from a Pashtun tribe, then you are not deemed Pashtun sorry.
