who is targeting shias?

Shias have been always targeted in some muslim countries, especially in pakistan, who is targeting them, does any one have any idea?

what kind of ideology is behind killing shias? do they think people will go to heaven by killing them?

It's not that much simple. Actually most of the times it's done by 'Neem-Hakeem' type of people who don't know much about Religion. And most of the times the attitude Shias show towards some Sahaba RA like Hazrat Omer RA and Hazrat Ayesha RA is also very disrespectful and people get ignited by those remarks against these Sahaba RA.

Well, whoever is killing them like this cannot be justified in any manner. And this need to be stopped at once. For that the Ulema from both sects as well as the government must come forward and provide a common platform towards unity of both the Sunnis and Shias.

One more thing, I think the rallies of any sort whether political or religious should be done out of city. And proper security must be provided to those who are joining the rallies.

It is not so simple Mr. Karachi... Enforcement of blasphemy law regarding Sahaba e kiram is must though there no such law exist in Pakistan. Shia openly humiliate Sahaba kiram RA in their speeches and then you expect the other guys to tolerate it ? It is not possible, its natural. It all started in Pakistan after the Iran revolution when Khumeini and some other guys wrote some books in which they declared Hazrat Omar RA as a kafir and used very bad language about other Sahaba kiraam. These books were spread in Pakistan and these speakers give references from those books.
The govt should ban all such rallies coming out of every street and there should be specific places in every city where they should do their rallies or speeches.

If they really want to mourn, they can just do that in their Imam Bargahs.

I actually agree with this, If I was a shia, I would never go in to rallies when I know I will be surrounded by wolves like (friend), so yes they are being dumb by doing these rallies

are you saying that people like hazaras in the conservative belt of pakistan are really going out and openly talking ish against the sahaba while they are being targeted damn near everyday? that makes no sense whatsoever. its funny when christians are more safe than a muslim sect in pakistan.
