  • Irrefutable Proof Islam is the Truth

Peace be upon the followers of true guidance

This is a irrefutable challenge from the Quran. This is sufficient enough to prove Islam is the only truth and the greatest way of life ever known to mankind.

This challenge ends every debate, disagreement or any doubts.

We should not entertain infidels. By wasting our precious time on them through long debates. Especially jahil nationalistic or commi pashtuns. Trying to convince their feeble adulterated minds of the truth. If their minds are not closed off, and they themselves are sincere. They will understand and accept it.

    Here is the challenge:

    وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُوا شُهَدَاءَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant (Muhammad), then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you are truthful.

But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers."
    [Surah alBaqarah 2:23-24]

The smallest surah in the Quran is only 10 words. That make up three ayahs.

14 centuries have past. And no one has been able to produce a single ayah like it.

This alone is the greatest proof that Allah exists and Islam is the truth. It is simply the greatest system ever known.

Holy Jupiter Optimus Maximus!!! That is one of the funniest things I have seen/read/heard in the past week.

Inqilab malgariya, the first line of the Communist Manifesto reads thus :

'The histroy of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles'.

How is this line/verse of the Communist Manifesto any less, in any way, then anything that is in the Koran?

Obviously you are incapable of understanding this. Move on.

      The challenge remains irrefutable. Next?

Okay malgariya. Please provide proof that the world has never been able to provide a verse/couplet like the verses of the Koran?

Inqilab wrora, how on earth is this irrefutable? Obviously we believe it is because we're Muslims; but others feel the same way about their own Books too. Just because the same statement isn't made in other Holy Scriptures doesn't mean they're of any lesser value than the Quran is.

Sorry but this isn't refutable at all. You see, brother,
the average person tends to define a good book based on the definition and perception that the rest of the society has for that book -- meaning, most Muslims find Quran "holy, divine, perfect, artistic," etc. NOT because they really know or understand it to be that way but because of what the rest of the Muslims say about it and because what the Quran reminds us. (No, this doesn't mean I consider it to be any less holy than what other Muslims consider it as; it means it's as holy as all other Holy Books). Really, how many Muslims even know what the Quran says? Even most Arabic-speaking readers have a hard time understanding it at times because the Quranic language is classical Arabic, not a modern one, and, believe me, there's quite a difference in both.

          Be
sides, you cannot compare books, I have learned. I don't like Shakespeare (I have something personal against him, but that's beside the point), BUT his works are fantastic; he gives brilliancy and art a great definition. But can you compare ANY of his work to the Quran? No. Why? Because the Quran is supposed to be a guide for a group of people to live by.

The Quran uses langauge really impressively; it has thought-provoking metaphors, analogies, and uses great figurative langauge in other ways as well, but (and I hate to ask this) so what? The Bible does the same thing; the Vedas does the same thing... pretty much all Holy texts do! (As a matter of fact, there's a joke that Holy Books should be studied ONLY in English classes so that English students learn what makes an excellent metaphor or how to use language compellingly! And all these Holy Books HAD to be written in this manner if they really wanted to attract readers their way. Which one of the Holy Books is the BEST, who is anyone to say? Muslims will obviously argue Quran is; Hindus will say theirs is, Buddhists theirs, Christians and Jews theirs, and so on.

Anyways ... going back to the "why don't you come up with such a book" verse ... well, many authors all throughout time have proven to be gifted with words and with convincing their readers (and their readers' followers and/or friends). At times, I read a poem (say, something by our own Ghani Baba, for instance, or Khushal Khan Khattak or Rehman Baba), and it almost makes me positive that it MUST be divinely written. Other writers have similar effects on their readers. I'm sure you agree that each writer has her/his own style that's extremely attractive to certain readers but not as attractive to others.

So, what I'm saying is that you can't ask a person, "Why don't you come up with such a book?" because the answer may most likely be: "I DID! And I HAVE! But you just refuse to look at it that way because you believe that since the Quran is written by 'God,' my works will never be comparable to His."

And why should they be compared in the first place?

^ Inqilab wrora, I understand you believe that, and that's fine, as I can totally understand your position, but when someone tries to give you a different perspective of the same verses you find "irrefutable," then you should at least make an attempt to prove them wrong and explain WHY your stance is still good and stable and how it's still "irrefutable." Comments like "Dogs keep barking," etc. don't bring anything to the discussion.

Consider this a discussion. Either respond to what others say to refute them, or then just simply ignore their posts if you can't give a rebuttal.

              Manana.

What's required by the challenge is to achieve at least a comparable degree of the literary beauty, nobility, and sublimity of the Qur'an while at the same time emulating the Quran’s particular style

The Qur'an is neither in Arabic prose nor in what is acknowledged as Arabic verse. It is not written in a combination of both prose and poetry, but in neither of those modes. It is unique. At the same time, the Qur'an is internally consistent in maintaining its unique style

Only the Quran achieves the highest level of literary excellence – so much so that it brings people to ecstasy and tears – while maintaining this style

This is the acid test: Write something in the exact same style as the Qur'an and in doing so produce something of arguably similar quality and sublimity

IF one even achieves that, no one has, you're to bring witnesses to attest the quality of the evaluation

This is the challenge, it's far beyond you two dirty shi'ite loving intellects. So don't bother writing your intellectually mutilated whines and "disagreements"

You guys can't even form a proper argument in English and egotistically pretend to put yourself forward for a Arabic challenge ahaha

                  That is your opinion.

But either way, the "ahahaha" takes all value from your post, wror gula. Try avoiding that next time so we can give some attention and focus to your claims.

Malgariya, almost all the terms you use, like 'beauty', 'sublimity', 'nobility', 'unique style', are all highly subjective. Something which may prove very beautiful, sublime and noble to you will not go down well with other people, an example being the famous 4:34 verse.
Secondly, many things other than the Koran bring people to ecstasy and tears. Of course, ecstasy brought on by the other things produce far less destructive results than the Koranic ecstasy.

We're discussing Arabic and not English. If you had a basic sense of literary knowledge about Arabic, you would already know what I mean

Both of you're self-evident of incapability and senseless talk, how can you even speak about a matter when you don't even have elementary status to it

Only form of respect you two have is a little "thanks" button on the bottom

Go ask any Kaafir scholar of the Arabic language about what I said

The general consensus of the international Arabic literary community is that nothing exists to meet the challenge, this is an objective yardstick

The Gods have saved me from such meaningless endeavors.

Malgariya, Are you, or that Zakir Naik madaari, scholars of Aramaic that you reject the Bible in a sitting?

Mutakhasis wrora, don't worry about what respect we have. That shouldn't be your concern. This thread isn't about how much any of us respected; try to stick to the topic.

You guys are obviously not candidates for this challenge. Only the intellectual elite are. Those who have mastered the grammatical rules. And the 28 letters of the language. Over a thousand years have past. The masters of arabic language took the challenge and failed.

                              So please, cut the crap.
