US Muslim group decries shots on Chicago mosque

CHICAGO: Two air rifle shots struck the outer wall of a mosque and Muslim education centre outside Chicago overnight, the Council on American-Islamic Relations said Sunday.
The shots were heard by worshippers who were outside the mosque and were powerful enough to damage the building’s brick wall, it added.
The shots were allegedly fired by a neighbour with a history of opposition to the mosque, said the Chicago chapter of CAIR, the United States’ largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group.
Morton Grove police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US attorney’s office are investigating the incident.
“This is obviously an alarming situation that all parties are taking very seriously,” CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab said in a statement.
“The weapon allegedly used in this incident is powerful enough to kill, and the projectiles reportedly came within inches of the head of the security guard on duty.

when was the last time someone shot at a mosque or killed people at a temple in canada?? The reason why Americans are so full of themselves is because instead of learning tolerance, they work by intimidating each other until someone sets a gas station on fire, kills people at temples or shoots at empty mosques to deal with all those resentments inside them. And tyranny doesn't happen over night either. Governments are not formed by aliens. Responsible citizens work hard to make sure that they provide a system which can benefit everyone collectively. It's selfish individuals holfing those positions who allow others to use them for personal benefits who end up turning nations in to being slaves to tyrants.

This is why all Americans should be locked and loaded. If this clown knew the people in-charge of the masjid were strapped and had the green light to fire back, he would think thrice before shooting baby pellets at their property.

If the Sikh congregation were strapped, no douche can harm one innocent bystander without getting shot down.

If the residents of Colorado were allowed to carry, no nerdy science major can even clock back the assault rifle without getting killed beforehand.

Illinois has some of the strictest gun laws in the USA. In fact Morton Grove, where this happened, BANNED private possesion of handguns in the early 1980s. IL state law heavily regulates rifles, shotguns & the purchase of ammunition. ALL of which is why the guy only owned & used an AIR RIFLE. while there are air rifles that could kill a human being they are expensive and unknown to most americans. it is most likely a standard pellet rifle from walmart, which could theoretically kill a person if you put the muzzle to their eyeball or the soft spot where the head & neck meet. essentially the guy most likely used an older childs toy. not that the guy isn't a khanzir, because he is, but the immediate risk has been blown way out of proportion.
