The question relates to memorization of Quran, if a person is writing down everything he reads to help memorize quran..how does one go about disposing of the paper in a proper way cuz just erasing it doesn't work .. I wanna keep the papers so I can keep referencing and stuff..any ideas how it is done ?

command+F "quran" didn't see the word in that whole post..im specifically talking about papers that have ayats written on themOriginally posted by ~Gangster~ View PostYes you can burn the papers or bury them in a clean ground in which nobody walks on. Throwing them on the ground or in the trash is a sign of disrespect.

All praise due to Allah,
may Allah bestow his mercy upon you and reward you for taking such great care about legal rulings of islam to certain issues.
There are legal rulings from the shariah about this topic, you can erase them why not,you do it with a different intention than a radical extremists who does either burn the quran or erase it with whatever,
burying is a difficult topic because many quran publication centers wrote quran and buried them around Sanaa in Yemen or elsewhere, they were all failure copies or had some other damages or writing errors, centuries after some archeologist found them, and claimed the quran we have today is wrong, therefore becareful with this issue.
but one can throw it into the sea or something like that.
And Allah knows best.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
