Why should they study Greek philosphy when they can study Islam and other fields? Saudis are one of the most educated people in the Arab world and they have the highest jobs and positions in the Arab world.

Half of Yemens population are illeterate (can't read Arabic or write it), there is strong tribalism, South Yemenis hate Northern Yemenis, the country is in caos and have been for decades, ther is a Shi'ah-Sunni divide, Al-Qaeda is rulling large parts of Yemen, Osama bin Laden and Anwar Al-Awlaqi were from Yemeni families etc.

You just admitted it yourself; Saudis mainly just study religious books, very little science or naturalistic subjects, very little intellectual topics. and even the religious books taught in Saudi are mainly promoting Wahhabiyah. Why should I not know about the Islamic Golden Age? I talk about it very often since it was formed and based in current day Iraq (Baghdad). My fahter is from Baghdad. I admire that part of history. Moreover in Iraq the ancient Semetic people (the ancestors of the Arabs) who formed the Akkadian (first Semetic people, langauge and civilization and the ancestors of all Semetic people), Mesopotamian, Babylonian, Assyrian etc. all loved science and maths etc. They are known as the cradle of civilization for a reason. All Semetic people love science it's in our blood.

The Arabs were highly intelligent and we are still. We have only suffered from foreign interference, conflicts and have been manipulated by all kind of people/sects, other countries etc.

So? There are many Saudi Studens in USA. IN fact more than any other ARab people. They are good and honest people and you only make fun. They are people like others. You are just some evil racist who harm simple people.

The greatest Islamic history is in Saudi Arabia - only rivaled by Iraq (Not Yemen LOL), it's the biggest Arab country, it' has tremendous natural beauty from the Arab Gulf to the Red Sea. Mountains, deserts, steppes, green areas, ancient structures (Mada'in), valleys, oasis, great food, extremely rich and stable country, many new developments etc. Much can be better but we are surely better off than Yemen - where half of the population can't even read or write and smoke qat all day, have tribal conflicts, war, shia'h-sunni divide, al-qaeda rulling parts of the country - northern yemenis hating southerness and vice versa.

I will tell you something; all the Saudis who come study here in America, only the women are actually studying and doing hard work All the Saudi males go and get drunk at the bar and try to have sex with the foreign students from Asian countries. I agree Mesopotamia loved Science and Math; But Mesoptamians are not Saudis nor are Saudis Mesopotamians. Saudis rejected this knowledge,, they reject all the Ancient Knowledge of the Mesopotamians because they were not Muslims and were Polytheists; so rather than Learn from them they ignored them and tried to destroy them. It was more enllightened Mu'tazilah who helped preserve the Mesopotamian Heritage and studied their books. Not the Saudis.

Here is a good reason why Saudis should be envious of Yemen. Yemen are the origin of the Arabs. Yemen has a better culture, better morals, better views. Yemenis respect women more than Saudis. Look at how many Yemeni women are involved in public life, yemeni women can drive.

True Belief i.e. Iman is in Yemen, where is that in Saudi Arabia? Some fancy Professional Photos with actors won't make Saudi look good, that is all cosmetic not real.
