Lower your gaze and guard your modesty. Wearing or not wearing the Arabian desert garment (Hijab, Niqab, tent) should be a woman's choice.
Kudos to this lady for exposing these self-righteous hypocrites.
Gulalai, God is great. He can see beyond a small piece of cloth. Don't make your god the mullah's god. Because he is a very, very small god. And no, before someone says it, covering the bosom and the hair are two very different things."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

Of course Gulalai... there's some men who will try to force it on your head by mocking you as they did this lady and there's others who will try force it off your head by mocking your God. Dont let either group get you down - two sides of the same coin."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

Look at the first lie she...tells.
There is no Hijab in the...Quran.
O you Children of Adam! We have bestowed on you raiment to cover your shame as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition.” (Quran 7:26)
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59)I believe the sun should never set upon an argument.
I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness.

she has good points, I am not saying she is 100% correct, but the points she nailed is that most muslim men are big hypocrites and the banking/interest thing at the end she talked about. That is such a big big sin compared to hijab yet is hardly discussed by the imams/mullahs. There are indeed no priorities among muslims to discuss the most important topics, they only keep talking about hijab, beard etc....Last edited by Karachi; 05-13-2012, 09:33 PM.
