    ^^^

I do not get my sources from a website like you do 2010. Like I said my sources come from several books (which their sources come from Al-Tabari) that I have read/reading which said Aisha was the leader in the Battle of the Camel (she directed the army on top of her camel, hence the name)

These are false allegations against the mother of the believers.

      http://www.islamweb.net/emainpage/in...cles&id=138446

      Read for yourself.

      You can provide some proof,

by the way that was the day my beloved Zubayr (rd) was martyred.

That website is biased, you could tell by the writing. These are the two Etic books I'm reading on the matter,

18,000 of my beloved had been killed, and my ummah destroyed.

Most of the authentic hadiths came from Aisha, and reading about Aisha inconsistencies after the Prophet died makes me suspicious. Aisha started to act like a Demagogue during and after Caliph Uthman was killed, than hyped up the Muslims against Ali whom she propagated as the perpetrator (even though her brother Muhammad Ibn Abu Bakr was the one). She was publicly against Uthman Ibn Affan's leadership, but became his biggest supporter after? Aisha then did the unthinkable and rose an army to fight Ali and his supporters in Iraq (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bassorah). 18,000 Muslims died in the battle that she started, and this was the start of the destruction of the ummah which continues till today.
You are right that most hadiths especially in Bukhari's collections are from Aisha and Abu Hureira and Ibn Omar and Ibn Abbas. They were all reportedly teen agers or like Abu Hureira knew the prophet for less than three years. Very few hadiths were reported by the muhajiroon, the ones who were with him from his days at Mecca.

The history of Islam post Muhammad is very complex. Rival clans battled over power especially the Meccan clans, many of whom were the prohet's enemies. But I really can't blame Aisha or Hussein (as some people have) as they were not in a position to do as they wished. Ali was from Banu Hashim tribe while Othman was from the Banu Umayya tribe. Each tribe wanted their seed to continue ruling. Ever since Ali died the rulers of Islam were all hereditary monarchs who ruled with an iron fist.

The 4 Caliphs were the only ones who never gave power to their children. And this to me tells me a lot about their sincerity and faith. Which is why they were assasinated. Aisha became Muslim from her father's sacrifice and Hussein from his father's sacrifice. Both however probably had people who surrounded them who told them they should demand the right for power and keep the power in the hands of the tribe. Whatever the case, what all this has to do with the Koran's message is beyond me. God chose the prophet and not anyone else to carry the message.

Arabs are tribal and they brought that tribalism with them into Islam. We should not worry about all this. It is sad to see all this bloodshed in Iraq over these sectraian differences. This is what happens when you abandon the Koran and start trusting history.

The reality is the Meccans were never really loyal to Islam and the Koran. They only joined in after defeat and after seeing this religion has become great. They had only one advantage and that was they carried the Muhamedan seed. And they used that to claim power over the other tribes. Muslims respected them for that and still do. Like the Israelites however, God does not care much about geneology.

But one thing the Meccans couldn't do either during the prophet's days or after, that is they couldn't touch the Koran.

One a personal note, I would like to say that those involved in the post Muhamedan conflict were not the majority. Ali had other wives and children and not just Hussein and the prophet had other wives and not just Aisha. More importantly none of the 4 Caliphs turned their swords on each other. My instincts however tells me that the issue was not just a power struggle. I think it was deeper tan that. I think it was about changing the tecahings mof the Koran. Something the 4 Caliphs would never do. That is why they probably were assasinated. The rulers of Islam wanted absolute authority. Authority the Koran would not allow them. So they found another revelation to give them that. Now we have Omar Al Basheer, Ahmedinejad, Al Saud and Mulla Omar.

Th question of Salat is probably the biggest question Muslims ask me. I think this is because Muslims have a very specific way of praying and they can not imagine any other way. Of course there is nothing wrong with how Muslims pray, but there is no evidence from the Koran that God only accepts this form of prayers. There is no mention of the 5 salat in the Koran. Something that most Muslims would find confusing. I had muslims who called me a liar when I told them that. They just could not believe that the Koran would never mention something that they see as important as the 5 salat. The Koran did talk about bowing, prostrating, kneeling and placing the face on the ground, just like how all of mankind pray. It said we should be hygenic (wadu) and should pray in reverance and we should not shout or remain silent. But there is no mentioning of how many prostrations and how many times a day and exactly when. The Koran therefore gives flexibility in this matter.

The Jews have their Talmud, the oral traditions complied orally which dominates Judaism today. The followers of the Talmud were known as the Pharisees, the biggest enemies of Jesus. The Pharisees are the dominant sect of Judaism today representing probably 98% of Jews. The Karite sect is still around. They reject the Talmud and follow the Torah only.

Christians do not have oral traditions so they do not have a prayer ritual like Muslims and Jews do. The oral traditions were rejected by the Christian authorities which is why Christian tends to be more flexible. Jesus and the Koran told the Israelites that God wanted to lift the burden that the Talmud inflicted on the Jews. Today we Koranist are trying to lift the many burdens that the Sunnah inflicted on Muslims. It made it almost impossible for Muslims to advance just like the Talmud made it impossible for Jews to get along with other communities.

but you put your faith in man instead of truth. being a muslim does not mean you are the beacon of truth in a particular area of study. when our prophet told us to go as far as china for truth, this was at a time there were no muslims in china or close to it.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

We have authentic hadiths which transmission route is retraceable to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him).

And as mentioned in the Quran :

Quran :Surah An Nisaa /Verse 59

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.

those people are mentioned here also, from the scholars who have knowledge made easy by the grace of Allah.

With regard to the hadeeth mentioned, “Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China, for seeking knowledge is a duty on every Muslim,” Shaykh al-Albaani said in Da’eef al-Jaami’: “(It is) fabricated.” (no. 906).

It is not just daif this hadith, but it is also fabricated.

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.

And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. Yes prayer times are not mentioned in the noble Quran :

                            Surah Al Isra / 78

Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.

                            Surah Al Isra / 79
And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.

                            Surah Noor / 58

O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

You are delusional, neither have you read the books nor you really know what is written. (the events of what happened after the prophet).

Those authors have more credibility than a Muslim; as they are not biased towards their individual sects.
