  • World's Largest Quran Manuscript Unveiled in Afghanistan

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The largest manuscript copy of the Holy Quran was unveiled Saturday in a ceremony in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking cultural and political officials from Pakistan, Khama Press reported.

The manuscript copy was calligraphed by eminent Afghan calligrapher Sabber Hosseini at the request of the Hakim Nasser Khosrow Balkhi cultural center.

The work of art is 230 centimeters long and 150 centimeters wide.

It took Mr. Hosseini more than 5 years to calligraph the work.

This site is not to be trusted,

Ahlul Bayt News Agency says it all... but after observing their website i decided to reject this news, i do not believe in this. ( not yout but this website)

Allah says ( meaning) : "O you who believe! If a Fasiq person comes to you with news, verify it lest you harm people in ignorance." [Qur`an 49:6]

Therefor it is to be rejected by a believer unless it is verified.
High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

But the largest Quran manuscrpit is a fact. A friend of mine participated in that event.
The Largest Quran has been caligraphed in five years. The length of each page is 2.28m and width is 1.55m and thickness 1.8cm. It has been made of a cloth and the cover is of goat's skin. The writer is Sabir Yaqoot Hussaini Khadri.

        HAHAHAHAHAHA

If I was a shia, I'd say : "why do you hate so much ahl ul bayt?" and then I'd proceed with cutting my back with blades until bleeding

What are you saying, that the ceremony didnt take place or that the manuscript itself is a fake. Because the ceremony did take place.
