Well as I told in several threads, Oman is and has been one of the most stable countries in the Arab world. But it is not really a surprise. Being an big country with only 2,5 million inhabitens (and fairly isolated) gives them a better climate to succeed in terms of avoiding religious disagreements.

That said, you can see the same in many other Arab countries.
