In London, I think almost all the majids have cctv cameras installed. I have seen cameras in the masjid where I live.
But where I work there is no camera I think. I have seen reverts there coming to masjid praying salah. It really makes me happy when I see reverts praying salah.
One juma prayer there an old revert came and sit beside me when the Imaam raised hands for dua, he didn't even know how to raise hands lol. But thanks to Allah he was there finding the true path, his face was full of contentment.
In the last juma prayer I saw a young chap revert offering the prayer. He looked too nice.

what is majet??? i am assuming you mean masjid?? which should be jumaaat?? yeah, i don't know.... i go there to pray not search the walls for security cameras.. and even if it did have cameras, why should it bother me?? it doesn't necessarily mean no one trusts me. it could also mean that they are there for my security. even if someone wanted to spy on me, why should i care??
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

How can you generally spot reverts in the UK? I've never been there but hear there are lots of native English reverts.Originally posted by emkhan View PostIn London, I think almost all the majids have cctv cameras installed. I have seen cameras in the masjid where I live.

I've seen those people in North America. Western reverts and Arabic traditional clothing!!! WHY?!? Not that it really matters but it's strange. Seems like they ALL choose to wear Arabic style everything - Abayas, Al-Amira style hijabs, thobes, shemaghs, etc. It's weird, I know we're all Muslims but it would be like if I dressed up in Somali cultural clothes. Wonder why they don't dress up like Pashtuns. If pakol were easy to find from generic Islamic clothing stores they would probably wear thoseOriginally posted by AdamyousafzaiThey're the only white people in the whole mosque, and usually the only ones wearing a thobe and prayer cap

Because there was another guy with him who was guiding him do this and do that... Probably it was his first or second coming to any masjid prayer.Originally posted by Zmarak View PostHow can you generally spot reverts in the UK?
