      My respected sister,

who prays is in the boundary of Islam but who doesnt gets out, that is true as the word Islam means submitting to the will of Allah SWT.
There is also a hadith which says that the very moment you are commiting a sin, you are not a muslim (during this short period of time).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The adulterer is not a believer at the moment when he is committing adultery; the wine-drinker is not a believer at the moment when he is drinking wine; the thief is not a believer at the moment when he is stealing; the robber is not a believer at the moment when he is robbing and the people are looking on.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2475; Muslim, 57).
But I don't get it what do you have against what I said, I am just saying what the majority of the orthodox sunni scholars say.

The opinions of the scholars with regard to the one who does not pray may be summed up under the following two headings :

      1. The opinion that the one who does not pray is a kafir, which is the opinion narrated from ‘Umar, ‘Ali and Ibn Mas’ood (may Allah SWT be pleased with them). It was also the opinion of al-Hasan, al-Sha’bi, al-Oozaa’i, Ibn al-Mubarak and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan; it was also reported from Ahmad, and is indicated by the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah SWT be upon him), “All that stands between a person and kufr is his not praying.” (Reported by Muslim, Ahmad, Abu Dawood and Ibn Maajah).

      2. The opinion that the one who does not pray is not a kafir. This is the opinion of Abu Hanifah, Malik, and al-Shafa'i, and is indicated by the hadeth of ‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah SWT be upon him) said: “There are five prayers which Allah SWT has prescribed for His slave during the day and night, whoever does them and does not wilfully neglect them, Allah SWT will be bound to grant him admittance to Paradise. Whoever does not do them will have no such guarantee; if He wills, He will punish him and if He wills, He will grant him admittance to Paradise.” (Reported by al-Daarimi, 1531; Maalik, al-Muwatta’, 248; Ahmad, 21690).

The reason why there is no agreement between all scholars about this subject is the following :

The Hadiths that mentioned the word "Kufr" of the one who abandon the Salaat (i.e. while believeing in its obligation) is similar to other hadiths in which the word is mentioned but not in the meaning that it nullifies someone's Islam. For example, the Prophet (صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم) said: "Abusing a Muslim verbally is Fisq and fighting him is a Kufr". The first look might give you the impression that fighting muslims nullify people's Islam. However, Allah SWT says in the Quran "If two groups of believers fight eachother then...." so Allah SWT confirmed the status of Imaan to those who fought eachother. This was a proof that the word "Kufr" in the Hadith does not refer to the known kufr but actually refer to kufr below Kufr i.e. to show the seriousness of such act.

Similarly, the hadiths about the Salat that mentioned the word "Kufr". The meaning of the word "Kufr" was understood to mean kufr below kufr and hence a major sin based on the hadeeth in which the Prophet (صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم) said: “There are five prayers which Allah SWT has prescribed for His slave during the day and night, whoever does them and does not wilfully neglect them, Allah SWT will be bound to grant him admittance to Paradise. Whoever does not do them will have no such guarantee; if He wills, He will punish him and if He wills, He will grant him admittance to Paradise.”. It is known that Kafir never enter Jannah so when the underlined text states that he, who does not pray, might get jannah indicated that it was a major sin that is up to Allah to forgive or punish for.

Also, it is vital to notice that the majority view that who abandon salat is not Kafir is the view of majority in spite of the strentgh of the arguments and view of Hanbali Madhab. That said, laypeople must stop taking position of scholars and leave such matters to scholars i.e. issuing ruling over people who does not pray. Also, no one should get his daughter married to a person who does not pray from first place.

so, to sum it up, the majority of the sunni scholars agree upon the fact that :

      - rejecting any of the five prayers is an act of apostasy (meaning if you claim that praying 5 times a day is not obligatory, you are a kafir, according to all madhabs)
      - not praying is not an act of apostasy but not praying is a great sin (according to the majority of madhabs)

      wallahu A'lam

About the fact to judge someone from what he says on the internet :

Angels are writing down every single deed you do and you will be accountable for all of them, this includes what you say on the internet

When someone says that it is permissible to kill Talibans, that it is allowed to cooperate with the USA, it is my duty (and also your duty) to judge them and to declare such beliefs as kufr.

Everything you're arguing is false according to the Ahl Al Sunnah wal Jamm'ah

A Muslim who doesn't pray is a Major Sinner, but not a Kafir, in Mu'tazilah Theology he is Neither a kafir nor is he a Mu'min but a fasiq.

Since majority of Sunni Muslims are 'Ashari, the Sunni Aqidah says the following

            Aqidah Tahawiyya
We do not consider any of the people of our qiblah to he unbelievers because of any wrong action they have done, as long as they do not consider that action to have been lawful.

Nor do we say that the wrong action of a man who has belief does not have a harmful effect on him.

We hope that Allah will pardon the people of right action among the believers and grant them entrance into the Garden through His mercy, but we cannot be certain of this, and we cannot bear witness that it will definitely happen and that they will be in the Garden. We ask forgiveness for the people of wrong action among the believers and, although we are afraid for them, we are not in despair about them.
someone who does wrong actions does not becoe a kafir; this is the fundamental 'aqidah of Sunni Muslims

which means you're not a follower of Sunni Islam and you're lying about the Opinions of the 'Ulama.

your doctrine is known as Kharijiyah and does not apply to SUnnis.

That's just a scapegoat of regugitating what I have said and reciprocating it. You just posted that the Ulama think that someone who doesn't pray is NOT a Muslim. This is false and I proved it by Showing the Aqidah of the ahl Al sunnah.

So if you have Ulama who say a Muslim who doesn't pray is a kafir; it means they're not sunni and that YOU are not sunni

                  deal with it.

Yes ofcourse we will be held accountable for what we write or see on the internet..
but what I mean is that to tell them , debate with them, teach them in a more respectable way so that Islam is not ridiculed...Muslims not made fun of.People are actually desperate enough to make 10 accounts and start talking about one stupid point and not letting it go...Thats what I mean by not knowing who is who on the internet..

In Islam we have to be patient with non-believers. The Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW who was so dear to Allah got cursed at ,thrown rocks at ,
he was persecuted in so many ways that people would actually go out of their way to go and put garbage in front of his house and put thorns in his way..
but he never complained he never even prayed a bad dua for them.

So just have patience brother and it is obligatory for you to try to make them understand the true beauty of Islam .. that will not happen in this manner of talking

We are to be known only as Muslims not as sunni or shias,,
                      Alhamdulilah...for everything

                        • The Ultimate Atheist Defeating Thread

Do you have evidence for the principle of uniformity of nature : the concept or assumption, fundamental to all physical sciences, that the nature of reality is consistent throughout all of space and time. Meaning that the laws of physics do not change with time passing by and the fundamental rules governing the measurable characteristics of the physical universe are the same at all times.

If atheism is true, then our minds are reducible to physics. Since physics is fundamentally deterministic, we have no free will. Ergo, I have no 'choice' whether to adopt atheism or not, and you're wasting your time by trying to convince me of anything.

When you say that there is no God, I have to ask : what compelled you to that conclusion ?

If our minds are unreliable, then where does mathematics get its consistency ? And if our minds are reliable, then why as a believer shouldn't I trust myself ?

Do you have a single logical reason why people should not kill themselves ? If emotions are nothing but chemical reactions and there is no afterlife then there really is no reason why someone should not kill themselves.

If our IQ is a product of evolution and survival then why are humans the only ones with the higher intellect ? And why do people with higher IQs not live any longer than regular people ?

Do you support eugenics ? If not, then from what holy book did you get the truth that all races are equal ? Did you saw it on a rock ? Did it came down from heaven ?

Can you tell me how belief in a god without proof is any different than denial of a god without proof ?

If we assume that God created everything, absolutely everything. So as Logic is included in everything, God created Logic. And let's assume that God is omnipotent, that means that his powers are illimited. So he can do whatever he want with what he created including Logic. So now let's assume that one day someone managed to demonstrate the inexistence of God. It is perfectly possible that God exists anyway and is fooling us because he has a complete control on Logic and on our minds so truth and false are no longer relevant. So even if you manage to prove the inexistance of God, God can exist anyway. Indeed, why would God obey to the laws of Logic if he created it ?

In before a lot of sarcasm and no answers.
