I know what materialism is and I agree with your definition but what I wanted that you may clarify who is materialist here? For me Saudis and Wahabis are materialists that for material benefits and other reasons they restrict spiritual tourism only to Makkah and Madina and discourage Muslims to visit other spiritual centers in Muslim world.

is it only you that is allowed to use materialist multiple times?Originally posted by Badlun View PostI know what materialism is and I agree with your definition but what I wanted that you may clarify who is materialist here? hajj is obligatory and a pillar of faith, no other site holds this distinction.Originally posted by Badlun View PostI know what materialism is and I agree with your definition but what I wanted that you may clarify who is materialist here? Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The kalimah is la ilaha illalahu muhammadur rasoolullah.
Not just la ilaha ilallah.
Anybody who disregards anything in the kalimah is OUT of the fold of islam. Anyone who criticises the sunnah, makes fun of it and criticises Allah and the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is OUT of the fold of islam.
There is no need to discuss with people like those, for they are deviants and an utter waste of time..I will leave the rest of you to make your own conclusions about who those people are.

Great quotation. Thanks a lot for sharing. This is the inner, intrinsic and spiritual form of Islam. Going to Hajj is a ritual but spiritual experiences there is also the spiritual gratification.Originally posted by badmash_khel View Post" Dil ba dast awar ke hajj e akbar ast,

Pashto translation
ZRE LAS TA RAWRA CHE HAJJ E AKBAR DA
DE ZERRO KA'BONA YAW ZRE BEHTARA DA
find your heart as its a great pilgrimage
One heart is better than a thousand Ka'abas
Sa'adi
When we are at Hajj we should have more and more spiritual experiences but back at home each of our own hearts and hearts of others are the abodes of God. Humanity is what matters not only rituals.

I totally agree that Hajj is obligatory and one of the five pillars of Islam.Originally posted by randolph85 View Posthajj is obligatory and a pillar of faith, no other site holds this distinction.
Makkah and Madinah as well Al Quds are the three most important sites of Muslim pilgrimage.
No other place like Mazar Sharif, Multan, Tonsa Sharif, Konya, Peer Baba, Saidu Baba, Rehman Baba, Timbuktu, Ajmer Sharif, other sites in Senegal, Mali, Turkey, Iran, Syria, Central Asia can take their place but Muslim spiritual tourism and pilgrimages should not be restricted only to these 2 or 3 places but after performance Hajj once in life Muslims should also visit other spiritual sites in Muslim world.
I appreciate Shia and Sufi as well as Brelvi Muslims who do zyarah of many spiritual sites especially in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Turkey as well as Africa.
