Is Lottery Haraam in Islam. Like if I buy a one pound ticket for lottery and I win 10000 pounds. Is this haraam for me to take or what ?
and also please put light on Bonds and all of its types.

What makes him different from a person living in the west enjoying the secular lifestyle while preaching to his kin abroad to hate the evil secularist.

Gambling is Haram according to most Islamic schools. But maybe Emkhan would prefer to do it on Thursdays because he will be forgiven on Fridays.]

What is wrong in lottery? has changed the lives of many, is a good pass time , interesting and often very meagre money is involved and is most of the times also done for charitable purposes. Above all what Islam as a religion has to do with lottery. Islam is for your faith , worship and ethics , has nothing to do with things like lottery.

In bonds you don't lose nothing. If you don't get the prize your bond serves as a legal tender/currency.

We were discussing something so a friend asked about this whether this is haraam or not ? So one friend from one school of thought says yes it is haraam but the other says no it is allowed. Thats why I was confused.

This lot of Toramana, Soldat Amir, Baygham, Levanaey etc etc is a secular, pro american, anti Pakistan brain washed.
They are not aware of the Pashtoon people mind set. They always talk about Pashtoons but they are way off them.
They put all the blames on Pakistan and don't look at their own leaders, like Pakistanis put all the blames on America and don't look at their own sold and slave leaders. This lot should land on the Pashtoon land and live among common pashtoons and understand the common man's views.
This lot should leave the Najib, Asfandyar and other elite class company for a while. Yes schimitar talks sometime logically, I also have differences with him over the darwinism issue and the Taliban issues.
I just says, Taliban are not that bad people. It is only the circumstances, plus reactions, plus continous state of wars, plus seclusion from the world, plus they have no say in the international world, plus no media, plus they are portrayed very bad and many other factors.
