  • Removing hijab before marriage

    Salamoon alaikum..

I have heard that a man has the right to see a woman's hair before he decides to marry her. Can anyone provide authentic daleel to support this?

He can only see her once while she is in Hijab.
and that too is said by the Mullahs.
The hadith for which they have allowed this is the one Where the Holy Prophey peace be upon him said that A man is allowed only one glance at a woman.
        The second glance is haram.
May Allah forgive me if I am mistaken.

I heard of this as well. The default ruling of "seeing a woman" is seeing her in the state that she would normally be with her family around. I believe it was Jabir (ra) who climbed up a tree to get a peek at a girl inside her yard, obviously she wasn't wearing hijab inside her yard. Regardless of anything though, if the girl decides not to show her hair, he can not force her to show her hair

i don't think a man is allowed to see a woman's hair before he has decided to marry her for sure. refusing to marry someone because of one's hair also doesn't seem like something acceptable in islam.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

There's a reason why she covers it, obviously it is of some value. Don't try to act all "up there" with your false pretense of not caring, guys. And yes, physical attraction does play a role in any marriage, duh. *rolls eyes*

^It does but you can see the person, i mean i cant think of why hair would change appearance that much, unless you got like rebecca brooks hair
