well i just wanted to share some ilm that i learned this passed week on abu bakr(ra) so here it goes...

saahib: ....they two were in the Cave, and he said to his companion have no fear for Allah is with us then Allah sent down his peace upon him (tawbah: 40)
Muslim scholars have unanimously agreed ht the ''companion'' referred to in this verse, is Abu Bakr as-sideeq(ra)
Sideeq: narrated Anas(ra) the messenger of Allah(saw) ascended the (mountain) of Uhud with Abu bakr, Umar and Uthman and it shook. The messenger of Allah said ''be calm, O uhud!'' i think he stroked it with his foot and added ''; there is none on you but a prophet(saw), a siddiq and two martyrs.''

Ateeq: Aisha(ra) reports that the prophet(saw) said to Abu bakr: Glad tidings, you are ateeq(freed) of the Hell-fire.'' Aisha(ra) added, ''ever since that day he has been called ateeq.''
