If the religion of Islam with its beliefs along with worship modes and moral injunctions are presented to the world as a spiritual system then it may rise but the political Islam, Islamism and the Islam of Alqaida , Salafis and Taliban with harsh so called Sharia is not acceptable to the modern world and is not rising but going down and down and even Muslims themselves and the Muslim youth abhor it.

Instead of making the people extremist and religious fanatics why not we preach democracy, human rights, development, science, technology and prosperity in the Muslim world?

Islam is a complete religion. It is a complete way of life. There is only one true Islam. So even the things you mentioned in second paragraph are already incorporated in the Islam and our way of life (shariah). No need to change it or to adapt it to other kufr ideologies, systems or ways of lives (deen).

The work of da`wa requires one to have studied the Islamic sciences with qualified scholars, to be a person of wisdom, to have excellent communication skills, to be intimately familiar with the culture and tradition one is engaging, and it requires that one have compassion and care for people. Of course the average Muslim must represent Islam through good character and conduct, and one should speak to people about the basic beliefs of Islam. But one should not go about joining debates and presenting oneself as a representative of Islam and Muslims. Representing Islam is a great responsibility and if one is not careful one can turn people away from Islam.

Brother Maiwand, you should spend less time participating in these online activities and find a reliable scholar with whom you can study the din.

bro, that hadith is not authentic and there is no prophecy in Quran about khorasan. Khorasan doesn't include the whole of afghanistan especially the pashtun areas.

Sheikh Imran Hosein is SMART =
one of the very ORIGINAL thinkers around.
I like what he called the Taliban as authentic resistance.
It's important to give them a more dignified appellation.
For in Western parlance, Taliban is instantly equated to dangerous evil figures
after repetition over 15 years or so has driven this image in to very dense skulls
who never question the pronouncements of who is good and who is bad by
the general media and officials.
Usually, the OPPOSITE is true of what governments tell us.

He is really impressive.
It doesn't mean every prophecy is going to come to pass.
But Sheikh Imran Hosein is doing a great job of analyzing
such complex topics.

About the Black Banners authenticity - well think like this:
if enough people are inspired by this idea, it WILL become
a reality even if the original Hadith was weak.

In short they will MAKE IT HAPPEN !
