It has always been like that.
Pirs, darwishes, hermits and madmen, witch doctors or whatever... have always played on "the fool" complex of people easily because they play outside the rules and conventions of society. The mystical.
This isn't a unique phenomena to this region or this news clip.

I cant be so open on forums.....the guy is 24 and take shape of faqeer, allah-ho type....if you are reputed as allah ka dost there, then age doesnt matter.
forexample.... in his room he hanged piece of clothes of all colours. when a female with a problem come to him then he notices the colour of her clothes, if she is wearing red colours then she says " surkh dopata utaro ( take off red cloth"....if she has understand his motive and his willing then she would take off her clothes...in case reverse reaction happens then he can excuse that he meant red clothes hanging in room behind her...
