Zakir Naik is not a scholar of Islam. He is a good speaker on topics of comparative religion, but he is not a scholar of any Islamic science. He should not be relied upon for answers to fiqh and `aqida questions. Dr. Naik used to give polemical talks dealing with the Bible and Christianity. Why does he now take fiqh and `aqida questions from people as though he were a Mufti?
