I wasn't sure how to take your previous post.

It makes me appreciate it even more, not because I am a Muslim but because I see where you are coming from.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

i've been interested in different theories about 'life the universe and everything' since i was 16, but i have just started to read mohammads words due to being on pf. i have always liked the call to prayer from mosques when i have stayed near them, whilst travelling.
heard a beautiful one yesterday on utube. 'islamic call to prayer (islam calls)'
        i was never a christian.

          Interesting points you bring out.

The fact that I can't picture Allah is proof of the Quranic claim that "there is nothing like onto Him." Since, there is nothing onto Him, therefore, He can't be imagined or pictured.

Since we are on about the call to prayers, allow me to enlighten you with something fascinating (something that fascinates me, even until today).

The part of the call where it mentions "come to prayer and come to prosperity," we Muslims are recommended to say: laa ḥawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah. Translation: "There is no power or strength except with Allah."

This for me is such a great of revival of faith. If understood properly and pondered upon properly basically nullifies the possibility of blind faith. It humbles man and teaches him that it is not the quantity of his prayers that matter but rather the quality.

          What are your thoughts?

prosperity there, could mean the richness of knowledge of allah and awareness beyond material wealth.
the quality of intent and submission to to allah/love and peace would not just be in time of prayer but all of the time.

One thing I want to add, it is in a wholesome prayer (one which focuses on quality of prayer) that one would be able to attain what you have mentioned above.
