  • Dr Zakir Naik declared a Kaffir

  • #2
no idea what i am hearing here.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

How very fascinating and intriguing is that, eh! Conflict of authority.

I wonder who's "right," Zakir Naik or those who have declared him a kafir and issued fatwas against him. Oh the troubles of life ~sighs~

muslims love to call each other kaffir and many other cursing things, just keep fighting/hating each other, this is the state of muslims, thats why i stay away from all relious people, i truly dislike them by heart, doesn't matter if they are salafi, sufi, shia etc... all of them are shameful hypocrites in their own ways

          This is foolishness.

Hypocrisy has nothing to do with religion or sectarian affiliation.

Your problem is that you can't see that at least a religious person has incentive to not be a hypocrite, whereas a non-religious person can justify whatever he wants for himself.

^^ no. Non religious people do not try and fool others by declaring themselves pious and morally good. That is what makes religious people hypocrites.

From what I've seen of religious people, they are worse characters than non religious people. No sense of humour, no willingness to integrate, no education, no job, no chance of getting a job because of no education, lie while pretending to be morally good etc etc.

Irreligious people these days are generally far more proud of their lack of piety than religious people are proud of their piety.

And no, Evangelists do not represent the majority of Christians, let alone religious people.

                  Try harder.

Somebody that is "irreligious" does not make a claim to being a good person.

Unlike a religious person who does make that claim and usually lies about it.

By being religious you set yourself a higher standard that if you don't live till makes you a hypocrite.

Zakir Naik isn't exactly someone who'd I'd look to for intellectual enrichment; but I don't get with this smear campaign falling on him in recent years, is this some sort of pseudo intellectual crusade?

That's probably one of the worst logical blunders I have witnessed on this forum so far. If a person claims to be religious and lies about it; that makes them irreligious. Hence one of you guys.

That's one of credibilities of religiosity, it regulates itself by it's high standards, that any compromise of it expels one from the group.

can't say the same for people who lack religiosity.

why do muslims keep killing each other like roches??? since the day prophet died this has been going on, i think there has never been a period in muslim history where a muslim hasn't killed a muslim for some reason, be it a big reason or small reason. Thats why i call all these people who promote violence the worse hypocrites, doesn't matter what sect they belong too.
