what is happening with muslim youth?

I dont know if you guys are noticing this where you live, but i am noticing a very disturbing trend among muslims youths. It seems many many of them have abandoned islamic values completly, i mean they easily have sex before marriage, they are shocked if you dont have girlfriend/boyfriend etc.. Many of them are drinking, drugs, disrespecting parents etc... basicaly doing everything which is not allowed in islam

I know these things were also going on before but to me it seems its happening much more now, even in many muslim countries. I think the whole islamic value system is breaking down and they are just becoming totally westernized with no values at all

Any one who lives in the gulf countries can confirm this

Saudis are the ****tiest IMO - at least that is what I got from visiting Riyadh in the past and my ex. Many people hitting on me in many different places, this happens in other Arab countries, but Saudi wins by a slide...
I also heard stories told by my ex about Saudi women meeting and doing lesbian orgies or with dildos and the like - guess it is an urban legand but i heard it...

i know only one person who has that type of a lifestyle. i don't know may be it's the place where you live or something. most of the muslim kids i meet are more focused on their religion and their background than the middle aged muslims.

yeah the arab world is totally become like that, especially the gulf countries including the so called holy kingdom of saudi arabia, which is probably number 1 at doing these things

It is entirely different situation in Canada. Younger generation is more involved in Islamic activities than older generation. Mosques are full of them at the time of prayers. They are active in volunteer work, during celebrations, Ramadhan, and other activities. They have their Muslim Student Associations mostly in all universities and they have acquired prayer rooms there. You will find them polite, helpful and very respectful with elders. Most of the girls wear Hijab and boys are decently dressed. Youths are hardly go to dancing and mixed clubs or pubs. I won't say that hundred percent youths are like that. There are black sheep too but in very small number.

We are fortunate that we are not raising our kids in those Muslim countries.
