The first time I heard this was in 2007. Early evening, I was sitting on the balcony, in a foreign country, with my two young nephews. Looking over the barriers, I could see people swimming in the pool on the third floor. On the other side, were cars driving past ... each hurriedly reaching their destination. My tears flowed like tomorrow would not come ... and the scene before my eyes was frighteningly a mirror image of what these words were saying ...
... Allah guide us all. And put barakah in our time to attain the level we want, in both this world and the next. To seek His Pleasure, in turn, our happiness, through our actions InshaAllah. And never be among those whom are astray. Rabbana wa ja'alnaa muslimayni laka wa min dhuriyatinaa ummatam muslimatal laka, wa arinaa manasikana wa tub'alayna, innaka anta tawabur raheem.
