That isn't what Wahabism means, and I think you know that.Originally posted by شمله ور خراساني View Postif follwoing quran and sunnah without mixing hinduism, greek philosophy, zoroastrianism and secularism is Wahhabism, then I am a staunch wahhabi.
While the Salafi/Wahabi belief in this matter is problematic, I don't think anyone from their camp has ever claimed this, and this is blatant kufr.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View Post^^ don't forget thinking that God the supreme being , would need to sit on a throne to support himself. Heh
Mu`tazilism is a dead, deviant Aqeeda that the Sunni scholars of Kalam have destroyed long ago.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View Postna'uzubillah, the sanctity of my creator is my highest priority. That's what lead me towards the Mu'tazilah 'Aqidah in the first place.
If you don't speak Arabic, then I doubt you even know what the Mu`tazilis believed, and why it was problematic.
I assume he's referring to the obsession that Wahabis have with the `Arsh (Throne) of Allah Subhana wa Taala.Originally posted by Fahd View Posthm okey what u mean about this ''would need to sit on a throne to support himself''

As for the Mu`tazila, they are a deviant sect which was extinguished long ago.
Their problematic beliefs include:
1. The Quran being created.
2. Allah Subhana wa Taala being bound and obligated to act according to what the human mind deems superior.
3. Allah Subhana wa Taala being obligated to punish and reward according to the deeds performed by a person, i.e. Allah Subhana wa Taala cannot forgive a Muslim for sinning and grant him Jannah without being punished first in hellfire if he sinned.
4. Denying all of the attributes of Allah Subhana wa Taala. So, for example, they will say Allah Subhana wa Taala is The All-Powerful without having power.
The list goes on.
