Men should give up trying to run the life of a woman today. We don't need men to run our lives, we never did. However, today, we have found the strength to say it.

Men should stop thinking that a woman needs him today. We don't need men for anything. NOTHING.

A woman, today, is self-sufficient. Period. This includes everything from providing for herself to getting pregnant to interpreting the Quran. God is love and He wants women to show men that they don't need them anymore.

We don't need a man to tell us to cover ourselves. We can do as we please. If God wanted us to be covered then He would not have created us without clothes. We don't need a man to tell us who to marry and who to not marry. I will be a Muslim and marry an Atheist, if I want. If my husband has a problem with my beliefs, then I will easily substitute him. Don't forget, a woman just has to lift her skirt and she can attract any man she wants. Unlike men who have to beg to be wanted.

A true man is he who would allow his woman the liberty to do as she pleases and support her, without condition, even if it meant that she wanted to be alone with another man, whenever she wanted. He should have trust in her and never question her or suspect her. If a man can't do that, then he is not a man, but rather a coward. A true man is he who would recognize that a true woman does not need him, and in turn would back off and let her live her life as she pleases, even if they were married. If he decides to divorce her, then he is very weak and cowardly, he is a male chauvinist, a sexist and a misogynist.

If a man wants to run the life of someone then they should get together and run each others' lives. See how far they get! Those women who are dependent on men are pathetic. A true and brave woman should not fear a man. She should get up and tell her husband, brother, father, grand-father, uncle--any male who tries to interfere with her life--that she rather die than to ever be subjugated by them.

A woman should not have respect for her father, even if he is nice and supportive. A true woman does not need the support of any man. The only men who deserve respect are those men who have never had the upper hand over women. Up to now, it is impossible to find a father who has never gotten angry at his wife. In due time, we will have men who will follow the orders of a woman. That is when men deserve to see a glimpse of respect, because they would know how to control themselves.
A father should never set a curfew for his daughter, and never get upset if and when she dates. Girls who date other boys and don't tell their fathers are cowards. They don't deserve to be called a woman. How can she be called a woman when she fears a man? Her father should know that she can do as she pleases, and there is nothing he can do. If he disowns her, then even better, she is no longer bound to him emotionally.

Women, today, don't need a man; we even have each other for emotional support, something which a man could never understand.

All women should stand up together so that our sisters in Afghanistan and Pakistan would find the courage to stand up to their husbands and other male members of their family. It is not fair that we enjoy peace in the West because our husbands don't dare to run our lives, but, our sisters, back home, don't have this liberty. We should stand by them so that they can stand up to men. If they die, then it would simply be encouraging to other women, and their martyrdom would not go unforgotten, and they would become the symbol for the liberation of women.

If a woman does not need a man in the West, then she definitely does not need a man in the East.

I appreciated your concern. I am not confused. Rather, I have been enlightened.

I used to be a good "muslim" girl, if you want to call it that. Then I met some Muslims who opened my eyes. It all made sense. The reason why we, women, are suffering is because all of those who interpreted the Quran were men, and it was all about political control for them.

Ever since I have ventured along this path, I feel spiritual closeness to god. I have formed a great sorority with other Muslim women who think alike. How could it be possible to displease god and have a spiritual relationship with him? Impossible.

In Islam you don't need the approval of your first wife to marry a second wife. This is man made. I should therefore also be allowed to have multiple men without the consent of my husband. In Afghanistan this is impossible because of the society and its dictates--it is run by men after all--but in North America or Europe I can do it, there are laws that protect me.
