I'd love to refute Islam-qa.com's reasoning because, although I agree with their conclusion, I disagree with their reasoning and with their interpretations of the verses and hadiths they've compiled in support for their claim.

But since I agree with the conclusion, I guess that's more important and there's no reason for me to refute them. No point.

It may be because of age, maybe if a patient is treated for antidepressants, artery hypertension, etc.

Oh, and why can't a couple use protection if they're suffering in poverty? Because God provides for us?
