                        • The Prophet (PBUH) said:

"Allah said," "Every deed of the son of Adam is his except fasting; it is Mine, and I am the one who gives the rewards for it."

The Prophet (PBUH) continued, "Fasting is a shield, so if it happens that it is a day of fasting, then let him not utter profanity, or shout with anger. If someone cursed him or fought him, then let him say: I am fasting I am fasting.

By Him whose hand my soul is in. The smell of the mouth of a fasting person, before Allah, is better than the smell of Musk.

There are two joys for a fasting person; he is joyful when he breaks his fasting, and when he meets his Lord."
