The push for Christian "churches" - some little worship groups is what that means -
in Saudi Arabia is silly.
Those groups already exist and keep a low profile so the Saudi public does not become upset.

Saudi Arabia is asking to finance a big mosque in Moscow, but the Russian Church is countering that they should be THEN able to construct onion-domed Cathedrals in Riyadh or elsewhere.

No Russian Churches should be allowed in ANY foreign countries at this point, as they are simply outposts for the FSB [new name for old KGB] where spies can be easily stationed without counterintelligence agents able to monitor them carefully.
It's a big ruse when Russian churches are pushed on various nations.
Hope all future Kabul govt's are listening and deny such requests !

The joke is that the Kremlin uses diplomatic leverage to secure "freedom of religion" for Russian expatriates abroad. There are some tiny number of those, however, in reality, and few of that number are Orthodox believers.

So it's a big scam to get KGB agents under a legitimate looking cover into countries which would normally treat them with utmost suspicion and surveillance.

Hope every single country is wise to this and never allows any Russian churches to be built on their soil as they are only window dressing for agents to hang out overseas and gather information on the host country!

So sometimes these restrictions ARE quite smart !
There are many reasons beneath the surface therefore for denying building permits for
various places of worship.
Every country has the right to protect itself and do as it pleases.

On the subject of Isarel as an Ideal and model state for Muslims and Pashtuns I am writing an article so rest o the discussion on this issue there please.

I wish we could discuss things in a more ojective and impersonal way and may criticize and analyze what is said instead of attacking the writer . We can learn and share a lot if we are not subjective and not personal.

This is not something good to demolish religious worship places but Muslims also have done the same when they started from Makkah and Madina and spread in Asia and Africa. In many places we dont see a single non Muslim religious place. In India many temples were demolished and converted into mosques. Before pointing out to others we must do some introspection too. This is all power politics. Muslims had power they did the same what today the powerful Isreal is doing.

Personally I consider Isreal to be the ideal state in the Middle east , the only democracy, the only developed state with science and technology as compared to the dictatorial ignorant Arab world.

Israel a democracy? Don't make me laugh! Israel was created as a JEWISH state on soil that was already inhabited by another people. It is not a democracy for the millions of Palestinians (more than 3,7 million to be precise) that are forced to live under their military rule for decades without ever having the right to vote for the government that rules them.
On a further note: Does an ideal state expropriate land that does not belong to them? Does an ideal state go against dozens of resolutions of the UN? Does an ideal state give economic benefits for religious extremists who wish to settle on occupied land? The answers to all these questions is NO, yet Israel does all these things.

I dont believe in the concept of chosen people but the same concept has been corroborated by the Holy Quran.

Except few examples because of political expediency or wisdom or tolerance or some other reason, in Palestine or Spain or Iran we dont see thousands of worship places of non Muslims out side Makkah and Madina. Even Makkah and Madina were originally places of infidels or non Muslims.

What happened to the Jews of Madina, the statues of Kaaba and the millions of worship places all over the Arab world, Africa, India etc before Islam. We know that this whole world was non Muslim before Islam but we dont see all those churches, synoqogues etc after the invasion of Islam.

I dont blame Muslims for this. They had power and they did so. Today Israel has power and they do so. But I prefer demoratic and developed Israel to the Sheikhs of Arabia the despots and the uneducated lot.

jews see themselves as the chosen people by race, not religion. muslims see themselves as the chosen people of the allmighty by faith, not race.

No body asks a lion why you tear down the poor animals, its the king of the jungle and might is right. This is realism and real politik and power politics and balance of power.Arabs bulldozed all the religions and empires when they had the power and now is the turn of Israel and the West. But west is still more humane and democratic. Attacks, fights, conquers and then make the locals like Karzai or Maliki as the rulers.

Instead of weeping, crying and complaining agaist the lion, be a lion and face it. Fight and dominate openly not like the suicide coward bombers.

Colonization by the West was a show of their strenght and weakness of the colonized ones. But we must appreciate the greatness of the West that they gave freedom to the colonized ones but the Arabs instead in majority of cases changed the language, culture, religion and politics of all where they occupied and were able to maintain their rule.

Due to their inherent racism, these Jews refuse tob accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as the final prophet. They also do not recognize Prophet Isa(pbuh).

So they will keep waiting forver because they will only accept the line through Isaac, and not Ismail because his mother was Egyptain.
