If she wants to share video lectures of almaghrib then she is more than welcome. But first some one has to confirm whether the arab sheikhs there are promoting religous extremism or not.

I'd travel for these interstate if I had to because I am pretty certain Perth is not on their minds, this quiet little city for foreigners is the last option. How soon, any ideas?

they are not actual "sheikhs" ...a few of them have degrees from Madina ..bachelor or master level ...but that is it. They are not considered
"Sheikhs"..yet muslims pay 100s of dollars for their coarse. Dunno why.

I don't really understand where they are coming from. They have some aspects that are sufi like but it looks like a sunni mix of everything. It works for kids...so I see no harm in it.

Alchemist, thank you for your confirmation. Yes, they aren't actually "Sheikhs" but are refered to as "sheikhs" in respect. They have studied in various places and are brimming with knowledge. And yeah, people usually go there to feel that Iman rush inside of them (being with a group of people who are constantly sharing knowledge), learn about a certain subject, or meet someone who could help them out. Muslims also pay hundreds of dollars on loads of other useless things lol Add something else to the list, kana :p

I hope so! But I've to look into their schedule and all when they're here ... 'cause if it's in the summer, it can't happen, since I'll be in the Middle East from mid-June to mid-August, ka khairee! If it's before June, then, yeah :D I go for it! And if it doesn't happen this year or here in this city, I'll definitely try them out at my next location. Cool? Cool.

What do you mean by "my thread" ?. It is not your blog or website, posting thread on PF means it is open to discussion.
Like alchemist said, it seems like arab socio-religous event funded by collecting lot of dollars from listeners. It is a matter of shame that these arab shiekhs are preaching for dollars.
I am member of tablighi jamaat and we preach islam by our personal sacrifices not by collecting dollars from others.
