i just read it wrora and well hm i can eitha make this a long post or a short 1 so il keep it in the middle:

why do you care if they listin or not or if thier concentration span is small, your doing a good deed of preaching your getting your sawab for the good deed your doing, and muslims yes i see it all the time aswell let me give you an example: some of my freind of laylatul qadr night went and played xbox till morning and did shisha instead of reading and praying like me and my other freind till the morning, it was thier choice and they arent going to get the sawab fopr the night but i will and so will my other freind. the ummah has gotten weaker and its all becouse of the western philsiophy and thier way of living and most people think living in the west you have to adopt to its life style and cultuer etc even i have done so to some things but i still pray 4-5 days a day and still read the quran atleast once a month and go friday prayer and ask for forgivness becouse end of my life i am going to be the only one in my grave, niether you nor my mum nor my dad or any of my siblings going to lie therw with me and take half of my bad deeds etc they are all going to come back down to me so its better i stay a good muslimn and practice my deen as i will be facing allah alone when i die. so ponder over that and sort yourself out.

yh i meant thank you for backing it up couse your right to wish 1 dead is a sin nd to wish 1s self is also a sin as life is a scared thing given by allah and the hardships are tests which we all have to go through some more than others.

that was the old ummah wrora, the ummah these days is very weak, people only bother with thier own gains, they make freindships thinking of long term benfits they can reap from it etc etc etc
just try and stay a strong muslim and keep your deen strong

yes the ummah should be a group......but as long as you do your part to contribute to the deen......you shouldnt really pick out on what others do or dont do......the thing is that Allah is merciful and well he can forgive people for what they do.....plus we dont know anyone's inward status with Allah.....wasnt there a hadith about Umar (RA) being beloved to Allah even while he was prostrating to idols.......

I haven't read that Hadith. A Hadith all tell you was that Umar picked up a sword and said he will kill Muhammad(pbuh), he went to him and became a muslim instead, then and their as well as a good friend.

yes...that was before he came to Islam...but you can't close your heart to others...because when Umar went to the prophet SAW after all that.....the prophet SAW accepted him he didnt turn around and say ''i told you so''...it shows mercy....theres wisdom beneath the surface when you look more closely at things.......

well...Islam doesnt tell you to quit things.....it gives knowledge a high status....it says that the difference between a knowledgeable person and an unknowledgeable person is like the difference between the dead and the living....All types of knowledge is sacred......whether it be religious or not.....

i kinda get where your coming from wrora even i read some ridicolous hadiths these days fotr example i heard 1 which said: if you like say go to madoalndz and the chikin is not halal there as in cooked in pigz oil but if u sai this small surah kind of thing over it befo eating makes it halal, and i just thought wtf? surely thats wrong or else your going to get people getting pork and going oh im going to read this over it and it will make it all halal so i can eat it!!!

so yh hadiths hmm some are very wrong and the reason i think it becouse they are interpreted by the person and so it can be a wrong view kanaaa as in wrong interpertation

What Hadith is that. I praises to god finished Bukhari and Muslim and haven't seem that. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi are very unreliable and shouldn't be read. Abu Dawud contradicts Bukhari, and Bukhari is more authentic then Abu Dawud.

The life of the prophet is very intoxicating, reading the hadiths def at a young age, makes you just want you to mimic it. so you can also be rewarded with the highest level of paradise.

Funny story the day I completed Sahih Bukhari series my dad yelled the crap out of me.
